~ Kivells of Holsworthy saw another huge crowd at their latest farm machinery sale, this time on a picturesque site on the edge of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall ~

With the sun shining on the sale field, owners Andrew Ham & Family had made a 1st class job of laying out the 400+ lots on the sale site. Top call of the day was £5,800 for the Vintage Ford 4600 tractor going to its new home with Nigel Martin near Camelford. The Lucas straw chopper hit £4,250 with the pick of the trailers at £2,350.
Plenty of other lots ranging between £1,200 - £1,750 with equipment going to new homes throughout the South West. Tim Kivell conducted the sale of smaller goods to start the sale with top call being £260 for a pair of Starmax wheels with the cattle crush at £260.
Several outside lots sold on the day topping at £2,000 for the Cambridge rollers in from one farm near Callington with the Hudson trailer from Messrs Northcott reaching £1,720 going off to its new home in Mid Devon and the Fraser trailer at £1,400.
