RICHTLINIE DES RATES

vom 28 . Februar 1984 betreffend das Gemeinschaftsverzeichnis der benachteiligten landwirtschaftlichen Gebiete im Sinne der Richtlinie 75 /268 / EWG ( Vereinigtes Königreich )

DER RAT DER EUROPAISCHEN GEMEINSCHAFTEN — Folgende Indexzahlen über schwach ertragsfähige Böden gemäß Artikel 3 Absatz 4 Buchstabe a ) der Richtlinie 75 / 268 / EWG wurden bei der Bestimmung gestützt auf den Vertrag zur Gründung der Euro­ jeder der betreffenden Zonen zugrunde gelegt : über päischen Wirtschaftsgemeinschaft , 70 % liegender Anteil des Grünlandes an der landwirt­ schaftlichen Nutzfläche , Besatzdichte unter 1 Groß­ vieheinheit ( GVE ) je Hektar Futterfläche und nicht über gestützt auf die Richtlinie 75 / 268 / EWG des Rates vom 65 % des nationalen Durchschnitts liegende Pachten . 28 . April 1975 über die Landwirtschaft in Berggebieten und in bestimmten benachteiligten Gebieten ( J ), zuletzt geändert durch die Richtlinie 82 / 786 / EWG ( 2 ), insbe­ Die deutlich hinter dem Durchschnitt zurückbleibenden sondere auf Artikel 2 Absatz 2 , Wirtschaftsergebnisse der Betriebe im Sinne von Arti­ kel 3 Absatz 4 Buchstabe b ) der Richtlinie 75 / 268 / EWG wurden durch die Tatsache belegt , daß das auf Vorschlag der Kommission , Arbeitseinkommen 80 % des nationalen Durchschnitts nicht übersteigt . nach Stellungnahme des Europäischen Parlaments ( 3 ), Zur Feststellung der in Artikel 3 Absatz 4 Buchstabe c ) der Richtlinie 75 / 268 / EWG genannten geringen Bevöl­ in Erwägung nachstehender Gründe : kerungsdichte wurde die Tatsache zugrunde gelegt, daß die Bevölkerungsdichte unter Ausschluß der Bevölke­ In der Richtlinie 75 / 276 / EWG ( 4 ) werden die Gebiete rung von Städten und Industriegebieten nicht über 55 Einwohner je qkm liegt ; die entsprechenden Durch­ des Vereinigten Königreichs bezeichnet , die in dem schnittszahlen für das Vereinigte Königreich und die Gemeinschaftsverzeichnis der benachteiligten Gebiete Gemeinschaft liegen bei 229 beziehungsweise 163 . Der im Sinne von Artikel 3 Absatz 4 der Verordnung Mindestanteil der von der Landwirtschaft abhängigen 75 / 268 / EWG genannt werden . Erwerbsbevölkerung unter Ausschluß der Städte und Industriegebiete an der gesamten Erwerbsbevölkerung Die Regierung des Vereinigten Königreichs hat gemäß liegt bei 30 % . Artikel 2 Absatz 1 der Richtlinie 75 / 268 / EWG eine Erweiterung der benachteiligten Gebiete auf dem Wege Zur Bestimmung der Zonen mit besonderen Nachteilen , einer Neufestlegung dieser Gebiete beantragt . Die Richt­ die den benachteiligten Gebieten im Sinne von Artikel 3 linie 75 / 276 / EWG muß daher durch die vorliegende Absatz 5 der Richtlinie 75 / 268 / EWG gleichgestellt Richtlinie ersetzt werden . werden können , wurden sowohl unvorteilhafte natür­ liche Produktionsbedingungen ( Hanglage , starke Win­ de, unvorteilhafte wasserwirtschaftliche Bedingungen in Die Regierung des Vereinigten Königreichs hat der der Landwirtschaft ) als auch Nachteile aufgrund der Kommission gemäß Artikel 2 Absatz 1 der Richtlinie geographischen Lage ( Insellage ) berücksichtigt . Die Flä­ 75 / 268 / EWG sechs Gebiete mitgeteilt , die in das che dieser Gebiete liegt im übrigen nicht über 2,5 % der Gemeinschaftsverzeichnis der benachteiligten landwirt­ Fläche dieses Mitgliedstaats . schaftlichen Gebiete aufgenommen werden sollen , und hat die Angaben über die Merkmale dieser Gebiete übermittelt . Die Art und Höhe der genannten Indexzahlen , von denen die Regierung des Vereinigten Königreichs bei der Bestimmung der der Kommission mitgeteilten Gebiete (>) ABl . Nr . L 128 vom 19 . 5 . 1975 , S. 1 . ausgegangen ist , entsprechen den Merkmalen der ( 2 ) ABl . Nr . L 327 vom 24 . 11 . 1982 , S. 19 . benachteiligten landwirtschaftlichen Gebiete im Sinne ( 3 ) ABl . Nr . C 307 vom 14 . 11 . 1983 , S. 103 . von Artikel 3 Absätze 4 und 5 der Richtlinie 75 / ( 4 ) ABl . Nr . L 128 vom 19 . 5 . 1975 , S. 231 . 268 / EWG — Nr . HAT FOLGENDE RICHTLINIE ERLASSEN : Artikel 3

Diese Richtlinie ist an das Vereinigte Königreich Artikel 1 gerichtet . Die im Anhang genannten Gebiete des Vereinigten Königreichs werden in das Gemeinschaftsverzeichnis der benachteiligten landwirtschaftlichen Gebiete im Sinne von Artikel 3 Absätze 4 und 5 der Richtlinie 75 / Geschehen zu Brüssel am 28 . Februar 1984 . 268 / EWG aufgenommen .
