Welcome and thank you for your interest in Florida State Swimming and Diving. We strongly encourage you to thoroughly view our website for information pertaining to our university and program. You will find a great deal of information that will help guide you and give you a great start to your recruiting process here at Florida State.

Each year there are a limited number of scholarships available. Our scholarships are divided among our swimming & diving program. We are fully funded under NCAA rules at 14.0 scholarship for women and 9.9 scholarships for men. Please keep in mind that the competition for scholarships is extremely tough. We take into account program needs, GPA, ACT, SAT, TOEFL scores, scholarship availability and potential future development.

Please keep in mind that in addition to high school athletes, we consider junior college graduates, possible transfers, international student-athletes and current members of our team. If you’ve met the above standards we strongly encourage you to contact us. These standards are a guideline and do not guarantee a spot or scholarship with our program. Scholarship standards are set with intention but we do allow for flexibility in how we allocate our funds.

Per NCAA rules, we are unable to initiate phone calls until July 1st after the completion of your junior year. Also, we cannot respond to emails until the start of (or September 1) of your junior year. We encourage you to communicate with us regularly through email. You may also set up a time you can contact us via phone or make an unofficial visit at your own expense. These opportunities will afford you a great insight into Florida State and give you the education you will need to make an informed and possible early decision.
