The best way to enjoy Tuscan food in a relaxing and comfortable way is having a local chef cooking for you Choose your favorite menu right in the kitchen of your holiday home. One of our selected and experienced local cooks will come to your villa with fresh and seasonal ingredients and cook a delicious meal for you. CLASSICAL MENU OPTIONS You can comfortably sit in your living room sipping some local wines, while waiting for dinner to be ready, or E2. Typical Tuscan menu with 2 courses you can enjoy the day out for a tour, while the chef is preparing your meal, ready upon your arrival. The service is available for lunch or dinner, any time. The cook will bring all fresh ingredients into your E3. Typical Tuscan menu with 3 courses E4. Typical Tuscan menu with 4 courses kitchen and prepare the whole meal on site using the equipment provided by the villa and bringing any 2 extra tool, if necessary. IMPORTANT Our cooks are friendly local women who cook for our guests like at home for their family. Rather than fancy food, it will be family style food and only traditional recipes will be prepared. Our cooks will arrive with all fresh ingredients and start the preparation onsite, then the meal will be served and they clean up everything after the service, leaving the kitchen and the dining room in order. We we offer in-home chef service and we are not a catering company. We will have our own materials and tools to prepare food, but we will basically use 4 what is in the kitchen of the guests' villa to set up the table and serve the food. We will not bring any tables, chairs, cutlery, glasses or plates. THIS IS WHAT WE ASK YOU TO DO - Please, make sure the owners/managers of the villa allow us to access the villa and the kitchen. Sometimes they do not welcome external cooks in their villa. - Please, make sure that we can access the villa at the time agreed. Extra time spent waiting for someone to open the villa will be charged on your card. - Please, leave the kitchen clean and free from your personal belongings such as phones, sunglasses etc. so that the cooks can immediately start cooking, without losing precious time in cleaning or tidying up the kitchen. Extra time spent to clean the kitchen before the service starts, will be charged on your card. - Please, make sure the kitchen is equipped with a suitable number of tableware for the number of people in your party. - Please, be in time at the table sticking to the meal time indicated at the moment of booking. Delay will be charged as extra. - If there are any food restrictions or allergies in your party, please share them with us at the moment of booking. It is important to know it in advance to assure everybody can eat without any risks or problems. HOW TO BOOK OUR PRIVATE CHEF SERVICES Once you have chosen a date and a menu option and we have verified availability, we will send you our booking form by email for you to complete with your data and send us back to confirm the reservation. We require the payment of the total amount, to be paid via credit card or bank transfer. Booking occurs only through an advanced payment. No payment onsite is accepted. Please, find our booking form below for you to complete and send us. In the moment of booking, please specify also the time you wish to have your meal served and we will arrange the arrival time of the cook.

IN CASE OF LAST MINUTE BOOKING: For last minute requests, after checking availability, the deadline for booking is within 48 hours from the service. You are also required to provide your menu choice within 48 hours from the beginning of the service. Should we receive payment or menu choice in the 48 hours preceding the service, the chef service cannot be guaranteed.

ABOUT ARIANNA & FRIENDS

Arianna & Friends is a tour operator and destination management company located in the territory of Terricciola, between Pisa and , in Terre di Pisa district, an authentic destination where to experience the real Tuscany. The owners of the company are Arianna and Massimo, two locals who deeply love their beautiful Tuscany and its traditions and want to share them with the visitors, so that they can feel a little bit Tuscan too and “at home”. Arianna & Friends offers authentic in-home chef services with the help of local cooks, who are available also for hands-on cooking classes. Kenneth: Cheryl and I just arrived "home" to Borgo, capping a wonderful week with Arianna & Friends. Beginning with Lorena last Saturday, cooking class in Licia's kitchen with Licia and you Tuesday, and today with Margarita in Sienna. Lorena was delightful. We communicated beautifully thanks to her patience and Italian/English dictionary. The food was delicious and her welcome to Tuscany perfect. We had just completed our long flight and her warm welcome got us off on the right foot. Licia and you were wonderful teachers and Cheryl and I learned so much about Tuscan cooking that we are excited (and a bit intimidated) about trying to replicate what we learned. What we'll remember most was the friendship Licia and you extended to us and, of course the food was delicious.
