2 Project: Footpath clearance Description: Make footpaths along the A22 London Road and he A264 Copthorne Road accessible to pedestrians by having overgrown vegetation cut back at ground level and overhanging trees and shrubs cut back to leave a clearance of 2m to allow safe access. 3 Project: Cutting back overgrown grass verges Description: Grass cutting to ensure clear access to narrow footpaths is retained for pedestrians Expenditure: 468
4 Project: Unsuitable for HGV Road Signs Description: Signs positioned at both ends of Rowplatt Lane to alert HGV drivers that the road is too narrow to accommodate heavy vehicles. There were safety concerns over HGVs both blocking access and having to make the dangerous manouver of reversing back on to the main roads. Expenditure: 654.7
