THE BOROUGH OF EASTLEIGH (HEDGE END, WEST END AND BOTLEY) EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2009
The Council of the Borough of Eastleigh (hereinafter referred to as "the Council") pursuant to arrangements made under Section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000 with the Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Sections 9 and 10 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act hereby makes the following Order:-
Commencement and Citation
1. This Order shall come into operation on 19 January 2009 and may be cited as the “Borough of Eastleigh (Hedge End, West End and Botley) Experimental Order 2009”.
Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting
2. In this Order the Principle Order means The Borough of Eastleigh (Hedge End, West End and Botley) Consolidation Order 2008
3. The Principle Order is hereby amended as follows:
(a) In Article 26 after item (d) there shall be inserted:
(e) between the hours of 2.00pm and 3.00pm on any day other than a Saturday or Sunday in the roads, on the sides of roads, or in any lengths of roads specified in the Eighteenth Schedule to this Order;
(b) In the First Schedule (No Waiting at Any Time) after item number 154 relating to Old School Gardens there shall be inserted:
154A Old Shamblehurst North From its junction with Maunsell Way south Lane East westwards for a distance of 47 metres.
154B Old Shamblehurst North South western boundary of 7 Old Shamblehurst Lane East Lane south westwards to the closed end of the road including the turning head
154C Old Shamblehurst South From its junction with Maunsell Way, for its entire Lane West length including all the turning head (c) After the Seventeenth Schedule there shall be inserted:
EIGHTEENTH SCHEDULE No Waiting Monday to Friday 2.00pm- 3.00pm
1. Old Shamblehurst North East South western boundary of 7 Old Lane Shamblehurst Lane, north eastwards for a distance 78 metres.
