THE BOROUGH OF EASTLEIGH (EASTLEIGH TOWN CENTRE),
( OFF-STREET CAR PARKS) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 1992
The Eastleigh Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as "the Council")
exercise of their powers under section 35(1) and (3) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and of Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act and of
all other enabling powers and with the consent of the Hampshire County Council
in accordance with section 39(3) of the Act and after consultation with the
Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act
hereby make the following Order :-
1 . OMMMENCEMENTAND CITATION
This Order shall come into operation on the 1st April 1992 and may be cited as
The Borough of Eastleigh (Eastleigh Town Centre) (Off-Street Car Parks)
(Amendment) Order 1992.
2 . AMOUNT OF CHARGE AT PARKING PLACE
(i) The Borough of Eastleigh (Southampton Road Multi-Storey Car Park) Order
1980, as previously amended, is hereby further amended so that for the groups of charges listed in "Scale of Charges" contained in the First
Schedule to the Order there shall be substituted the following :-
New Charges Up to 1 hour - 30p
Up to 2 hours - 40p
Up to 3 hours - 50p
Up to 4 hours - 80p
Over 4 hours - £1 .40
(ii) The Borough of Eastleigh (Eastleigh Town Centre) (Off-Street Car Parks)
Order 1985, as previously amended, is hereby further amended so that for,
the groups of charges for the Romsey Road Car Park listed in column 6
"Scale of Charges" contained in the First Schedule to the Order there
shall be substituted the following :-
New Charges Up to 1 hour - 30p
Up to 2 hours - 40p
(iii) The Borough of Eastleigh (Eastleigh Town Town Centre) (Off-Street Car
Park) Order 1987, as previously amended, is hereby further amended so
that for the groups of charges for the Southampton Road (West Side) Car
Park (now referred to as Wells Place - Floor Level Car Park) listed in
Column 6 "Scale of Charges" contained in The Schedule to the Order there
shall be substituted the following :-
New Charges Up to 1 hour - 30p
Up to 2 hours - 40p
Up to 3 hours - 50p
Up to 4 hours - 80p
(iv) The Borough of Eastleigh (Swan Centre, Eastleigh) (Roof Top Car Park)
Order 1989, as previously amended, is hereby further amended so that for
the groups of charges listed in Column 6 "Scale of Charges" contained in
The Schedule to the Order there shall be substituted the following :-
New Charges Up to 1 hour - 30p
Up to 2 hours - 40p
Up to 3 hours - 50p
Up to 4 hours - 80p
3s AMOUNT OF EXCESS CHARGE
The Orders referred to in Article 2(i),, (ii), (iii) and (iv) of this
Order (as amended) are hereby further amended to the extent that "£30"
be substituted for the amount of "£20" specified in Article 12 in each
Order :
4 . PAYMENT OF EXCESS CHARGE
The Orders referred to in Article 2(i), (ii), (iii) and (iv) of this
Order (as amended) are hereby further amended to the extent that "£20"
be substituted for the amount of "£15" specified in Article 13 in each
