THE OF (CHANDLER’S FORD AND ) (AMENDMENT NO. 03) ORDER 2016 AND THE (CHANDLERS FORD AND HILTINGBURY) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) (CONTROLLED ZONE) ORDER 2016

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Eastleigh Borough Council pursuant to arrangements under Section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000 with County Council has made the above mentioned Traffic Regulation Orders in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Sections 1, 2, 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.

The general effect of the Order will be to:

1. Make The Borough of Eastleigh (Chandler’s Ford and Hiltingbury) (Amendment No.03) Order 2016. The general effect of this Order is to insert into The Borough of Eastleigh (Chandler’s Ford and Hiltingbury) Consolidation Order 2016 new waiting restrictions, and amend some existing restrictions as detailed below: a) ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions in the following roads:

Beresford Beresford Road Bodycoats Road Brickfield Lane Clausentum Gardens Close

Cuckoo Bushes Fir Croft Drive Heathlands Hillcrest Avenue Meadbrook Lane Road Gardens

Neilson Close Peverells Road Peverells Wood Roman Close Sarum Road Avenue Tadburn Close Valley Road Westmorland Way b) ‘No Waiting, Monday – Friday, 10am -11am and 2pm – 3pm in Castle Lane. c) ‘No Waiting, Monday – Saturday, 10am – 11am and 2pm – 3pm in Roman Close. d) ‘Waiting Limited to 15 minutes no return within 30 minutes, Monday – Friday, 8.30am- 9.30am and 3.30pm-4.30pm’ in Hillcrest Avenue e) ‘Loading and Unloading only’ restriction in Station Lane f) Changes to the existing Limited Waiting bays in Station Lane to prevent returning to any of the parking bays in the ‘same road in the same day’ g) The Borough of Eastleigh (Chandlers Ford and Hiltingbury) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) (Controlled Zone) Order 2016 shall be revoked and the provisions held within shall be included in The Borough of Eastleigh (Chandler’s Ford and Hiltingbury) Consolidation Order 2016
