Much Marcle CE Primary Debating Competition Cluster Schools’ Tournament Ledbury On Wednesday 18th March, I am delighted to report that Esme, Harry, Joel, Amelia, Sam our netball team came FIRST in HR8 2LY and Tabitha represented our this year’s sports competition at Head Teacher: school at a debating competition Ledbury Primary. Our Value this month is: The team played seven matches, winning every single game. This Trust really is a huge achievement. Technology Morning Children in Class 4 visited Malvern St. James School for a Science and technology morning on Thursday 19th March. They had great fun participating in a wide range of exciting and thought-provoking activities.

Pyramid Prom Much Marcle Primary was well represented at last Thursday’s The football team also did well, Pyramid Prom at only missing out in a semi-final High School. Our choir sang the spot because of challenging song ‘He’ll Be There’, showing penalty shoot out. Well done to excellent tone and confidence. everyone who took part. Celebrating Attendance Congratulations to all children who have achieved a Bronze certificate for one full term’s attendance, or a Silver certificate for two full term’s attendance. Certificates were presented in a special assembly.

Swimming Gala Important Dates Last Saturday we took part in the Herefordshire Primary Easter Holiday 30th March— Schools Swimming Gala, racing 10th April against 24 other primary schools in the county. We came third in APRIL the Small Schools trophy and 28th JMHS Open Morning came fifth overall which is an excellent achievement. MAY 4th Bank Holiday—No School Easter Service 11th Start of SATS Week Thank you to everyone who 19th Year 6 London Trip attended our Easter service at 21st Year 6 Return from Lon- St. Bartholomew’s Church don yesterday. The children led an exploration of the importance of Half Term 25th—29th May Easter through readings, poems and songs.
