DESCRIPTION
Study Visit in Norway on the topic of implementation of financial instrument is focused on practical experiences with Developing Innovation. We will meet experts from the SINTEF Venture, organisation supporting both early stage investment and also comprising fund to develop new technology companies with the European Investment Fund. During the Study Visit we will also meet several Norwegian agancies focused on supporting innovation. Last but not least, we have a meeting scheduled with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries in Oslo.
PROGRAMME SINTEF SINTEF is one of Europe’s largest independent research organisations. Every year SINTEF is carring out several thousand projects for customers large and small Innovation Norway Institution supporting Innovation and Development of Norwegian Enterprises and Industry. Innovation Norway is the Norwegian Government’s most important instrument for innovation and development of Norwegian enterprises and industry. Institution supports companies in developing their competitive advantage and enhancing innovation. Ministry of Fisheries, Industry and Trade The Ministry is responsible for the trade, industry and seafood policy. Research Council of Norway The Research Council works to promote renewal and innovation in the public sector. It offers a variety of funding instruments for research-based innovation and knowledge-building. Research Council funding works to promote value creation in Norwegian trade and industry.

On the first day of the study visit Wednesday 18 May 2022, participants will participate in the meeting with the experts from SINTEF and will travel by plane to the 2. part of the Study Visit to Oslo. In the evening in Oslo we will have a get together dinner.
