It’s no secret that Vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. In 2017 it ranked #5 in “the world’s most liveable cities” and with destinations like Whistler, Victoria and Tofino close by there’s plenty of reason for worldly visitors to take a trip to , .

We receive about 164 rainy days a year and are the mildest climate in Canada. This isn’t such a bad thing considering the rest of the country is filled with snow for about 6 months! Vancouver is home to the world famous , which is 10% larger than in New York. It has been rated the #1 park in North America from TripAdvisor readers and is absolutely stunning. My favourite way to explore the park is by bicycle. You can travel along the for approximately 9 kilometres (5.6 miles), with breathtaking views of the water, trees, beaches and several great attractions like the Vancouver . With 40% of Vancouver’s total population made up of immigrants, we take pride in welcoming people from cultures across the globe. Referred to by many as “Hollywood North,” we are the most popular location to film in besides Los Angeles and New York. Our cruise ship terminal is the 4th largest in the world and leaves visitors absolutely in awe after returning from the most popular cruise location of Alaska. All these reasons and more are exactly why I decided to travel 7,461 km from the province of Newfoundland to be here. Growing up, I had the pleasure of staying in a handful of beautiful hotels with my brother and sister while joining my father on his business trips. It wasn’t long until I fell in love with the feeling I got when staying in a luxury hotel. Although I was only age 8 at the time, I was always treated like someone special when we visited. This coupled along with the beautiful décor, fun personalities, and amenities was enough for me to decide at a young age that I wanted to dedicate my life to the hospitality profession and provide second to none customer service for each and every guest I would interact with.
