Purpose The purpose of this transfer plan is to list the Montcalm Community College courses that are required for a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) at . This is not a complete listing of the coursework necessary to earn a degree from Wayne State University. This transfer plan is effective beginning in Fall 2019.

Requirements The undergraduate program requires a minimum of 120 credit hours through five types of courses: business foundation, core, major, university general education requirements and elective courses. Wayne State accept maximum of 64 transfer credit hours. Completion of a MACRAO stamp or Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) is also strongly recommended. The BSBA does not have a foreign language requirement.

WSU strongly recommend that all transfer students fulfill their general education requirements through the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) before transferring to WSU. Each community college has an MTA approved course list of its own, so please refer to the list of courses that your respective community college has approved for MTA. If you do not have an MTA or MACRAO endorsement, you can transfer each course from the WSU's gen ed category here: Michigan Community College General Education Tables.

Students must fulfill requirements for the college/major of interest below (no more than 64 credits from a two-year school will apply toward a Wayne State University degree):

A minimum 2.5 GPA and 54 credits is required to enroll in 3000 level or higher Business Core and Major courses at WSU A minimum grade of “C” (2.0) is required for any course to transfer into WSU Majors Students may choose from six undergraduate majors: Accounting, Finance, Global Supply Chain Management, Information Systems Management, Management, and Marketing.

Advising Specific course requirements vary by major area of study. You are strongly encouraged to work with a Wayne State Academic Advisor to create an academic plan for your degree.

Business Core Requirements These courses are required by the school or college regardless of your major.

Management Major Courses: (maximum 2 major courses will be applied to MGT Major) No equivalent courses at Northwestern. Marketing Major Courses: (maximum 2 major courses will be applied to MKT Major) No equivalent courses at Northwestern. Additional Requirement for Business Administration (B.A. Program)

Student must attain a level of proficiency in a single foreign language equivalent to the completion of eleven credits through university-level course work or placement by examination administered by the University’s Department of Classical and Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures. This additional language requirements may result in course work beyond the 120 credit minimum.
