WORKSHOP LEADERSHIP 3 & 4 july 2013 hrt, zagreb PROGRAMME

3

Dear Colleagues,

Leaders in public service media must be credible and trustworthy. They should continuously update their skills and operating assumptions. They must perceive and interpret their organizations’ dynamic and fast-moving changes that are happening on an unprecedented scale everywhere around us, in technology, audience behaviour and habits, and society in general. They should constantly be reaching for new opportunities, responding appropriately and in due time to any challenge, acting consistently and leading by example.

Leadership in public service media should always be exemplary: responsible motivating, visionary, supportive, inspirational to others and constantly listening to a fast-evolving environment in order to provide our organizations with a sense of direction.

Our shared responsibility is to motivate and inspire our colleagues and co- workers by creating a working atmosphere that favours creativity and the production of high-quality content to be delivered on all platforms to our main stakeholder: the public.

This leadership course provided by ACADEMY and co-organized by HRT Academy is an important step in this direction. 4
