In Gear / April-May 2009 / cal4wheel.com nother year of great four-wheeling is upon us. We have a new president of our country, as well as a new president for our association, A with Robert Reed returning to the helm. Our association has many events planned for the year, as well as a new fund- raiser created by Ray and Bridget De Long (see page 13 for more information). Ray and Bridget are challenging others in the association to get back to our roots and put on some good old-fashioned fundraisers. A new membership drive is underway to help with our lagging membership numbers. We’ll be giving away event registrations at each district meeting to the member with the most referrals in their district. All you need to do is be sure that your new recruit lists you in the ‘referred by’ section on their membership applica- tion. New members can sign up by mail or online at cal4wheel.com/store. We’ll see you on the trail. Enjoy! — Suzy Johnson, Editor
