Farm Garden Reminder I’ve been asked to publish the following reminder: “Vegetables raised in the raised beds in the Farm Garden belong to the gardeners who planted, weeded, watered, and cared for them through the spring and summer. They are not free for picking by other gardeners or residents. Vegetables donated by gardeners and placed on the shelf in the mail room are free for the taking. We love to share, but please respect the gardens and hardworking gardeners. Thank you.”

Apple Harvest Festival Join us in the Main Dining Room and Café on Wednesday, September 8 for an harvest festival. Our chefs have created a menu that is perfect for this time of the year. Soups are mulligatawny and fire roasted pepper chili. Entrees include apple, cranberry & brie stuffed chicken breast, pork tenderloin with rum raisin compote, beef brisket with applewood bacon and sauteed shrimp in applejack. Accompaniments are cabbage, potatoes and dumplings, butternut squash with sage walnut pesto and escalloped . Our dessert trio plate consists of an apple churro, bites and a salted cinnamon muffin.
