• One of our favorite towns, it is just fun to wander around Regensburg. • This town started off as a Roman Outpost and parts of these structures are visible as part of the modern day buildings. • The town has a strong historical past. The Old Town Hall once was the meeting place of the Parliament of the Holy Roman Empire. • During the 2nd and 3rd Crusades, the stone bridge was the crossing site for Crusaders off to do battle in the Holy Land. • The Christmas Markets at the Thun & Taris Castle is our personal favorite in all Europe—very dramatic at night. • Best of all, it has the World Famous Hat King Store—Anne owns several hats from here.
