2017 Reserve Livermore Valley | Retail: $32 | Red Wines Best described as pretty, this Grenache is generously soft and enticing with red fruit flavors of cranberry and raspberry. A subtle smokiness adds complexity to the palate making for an overall easy to drink wine.

2018 Reserve Assemblage Red Livermore Valley | Retail: $30 | Red Wines Elegantly structured with flavors of dark berries, cherry, chocolate and a touch of baking spices. This - inspired blend is complimented by round tannins and balanced acidity melding to a soft, creamy finish.

2018 Reserve Livermore Valley | Retail: $38 | Classic & Red Wines Dark berry and sweet spice aromas develop in the glass while rich, opulent fruit bursts on the palate. Flavors of plum, toffee, and chocolate create a full-bodied wine with silky tannins and a smooth, lingering vanilla finish.

2017 Reserve Red Blend Spring Mountain | Retail: $65 | Classic & Red Wines A true representation of Spring Mountain , this unique blend boasts notes of tobacco and spice supported by bright red cherry flavors and a black pepper finish. Balanced tannins and nice acid make for an age worthy red.

2018 Reserve Petite Sirah, Captain Joe’s Livermore Valley | Retail: $38 | Classic & Red Wines Big and bold yet approachable, baked blackberry flavors from this Petite Sirah coat the palate. Juicy brambly fruit flavors are balanced with lush tannins, nice structure, and a lengthy finish peppered with cinnamon, spice, and oak.

Ripe berry fruit flavors mingle with coffee and a spice finish. A dense, finely structured wine with gentle, velvety tannins. Fall 2020 A Message from our Wine Club Manager Each release, I like to highlight one of our newest and share a little more in depth so you can fully appreciate Concannon’s offerings. For this release, I would like to showcase Concannon’s Malbec, a wine that truly does not get the attention it deserves. The Malbec for this Reserve come from our Estate Block 10. This block is 9.8 acres and is located behind the about 200 yards west of our new Block 7 along the parking lot. and Cabernet from our Estate are also blended into this to give the Malbec a little extra character.

The 2018 Reserve Malbec, with a rich bouquet of dark berries and sweet spices is complimented by flavors of juicy blackberry and plum, the finish is balanced with smooth vanilla notes and silky tannins. This is a great wine to serve with sweet and spicy BBQ or firm cheeses like Asiago and Manchego. As we look towards winter and thanksgiving, try one of these often-missed pairings for Malbec: turkey with cranberries, honey basted ham with cloves, or roasted winter root vegetables with a ginger-teriyaki glaze.
