What’s behind the “ON Y VA” name? “On Y Va” is a casual French expression meaning “Let’s go!” It’s the perfect name for premium French wine that goes where you go, from hiking and beach adventures to relaxing on the porch sans searching for and glassware (or worse, little plastic cups). How much alcohol is in ON Y VA Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc? On Y Va Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc contains 12.5 % . How much wine is in a single slim can? Each ON Y VA slim can contains 250 mL of wine, which is just more than 8 ounces, or 2 wine glasses of 4.2 ounces each. Three cans equal a bottle of wine, which is 750mL. We first began tasting canned wines on the market the summer of 2018. We first began concepting names and can designs back in the fall of 2018. We had many unique ideas, but we kept coming back to the design concept that showed real moments we had in France as a couple. We worked tirelessly with a talented designer in California to get the look and feel just right. Each can has a sleek white background and top, and visually brings to life real moments we had in France and real places (each can describes the wine region from which the wine comes). Through our concept exploration, we realized this: We don’t think you can adequately talk about wine without talking about the land its grapes are harvested from, the process and the people who make wine.
