European Commission at Web Summit 2018

Web Summit is the largest tech conference in the world. More than 70 000 attendees are expected to gather in Lisbon, with 1200 speakers and participants from 170 countries for 3 full days of networking and business. The European Commission will have a corporate stand at the Web Summit and will organise 3 workshops. European Commission
At the European Commission's stand, participants of the Web Summit 2018 will be able to ask questions on EU policies and funding opportunities as well as learn about the actions taken by the European Commission to foster the Digital Single Market. The Directorate General for Communication Networks, Content and Technology (DG CONNECT) will organize 3 workshops on topical issues for digital policies.
The 3 workshops consist of the following:

At the stand, people from the European Commission will provide information about its activities in the field of digital skills. Concretely they will show how companies and organisations can offer Digital Opportunity traineeships with costs covered by the EU. They will also explain how to join the Digital Skills & Jobs Coalition and what the benefits of being part of that network are.
