Announcing: Lindemans Young Seattle, Tues. Feb. 19, 2019: , wild-fermented from Belgium’s Senne River Valley, show complex, interesting, sour flavors. Lambic brewers like Lindemans age some batches in oak, blending batches from different years to make ; often fruit is added to lambics for beautiful balance. First imported to the US in the 1980s, Lindemans popular, inviting, fruit lambics built the fruit category. Now Lindemans offers a draft-only beer of a style rarely available anywhere: newly-fermented, unblended, single-batch lambic: “Young Lambic.” With very low carbonation, ABV of 5.0%, and limited aging time, the sour, tart complexity of lambic shines through in this hazy, unusual, gently sour ale. Because the mixture of is different with every wild-yeast fermentation, there will be slight flavor variations between batches: celebrate the differences! Production is limited: try it when you see it! Young Lambic Kegs are shipping now but will not be available in all US regions and will sell out before next season. Some accounts are pouring currently: check the retail finder on our website. CRAFTED BY WIND, BREWED THROUGH GENERATIONS
