Beer Style Sheets ABV = Alcohol by Volume Whynot Wheat (Wheat): American Style Wheat Non-Filtered Avg. ABV: 4.5-5.2% Our best selling beer. Characterized by a yellow color and cloudiness from the yeast remaining in suspension after fermentation. It has low hop bitterness, and a fruity aroma and flavor. Raider Red (Amber, Red): American Style Amber Ale Filtered Avg. ABV: 4.6-5.5% Our house amber. This amber ale is characterized by a copper to amber color and is very clear. Raider Red has a malt sweetness balanced by a hop bitterness. The aroma you will notice is hoppy. Black Cat Stout (Stout): Oatmeal Stout Non-Filtered Avg. ABV: 4.4-5.2% Our house dark beer. Like you would expect a stout to be; Black Cat Stout is black in color with a creamy head. Roasted barley and coffee notes are offset by slight hop bitterness. Medium bodied with a smooth finish. Big Bad Leroy Brown: American Brown Ale Filtered Avg. ABV: 5.2-5.8% Leroy Brown is brown in color with a nice maltiness offset by hop bitterness and hop flavor. American Pale Ale (APA): American Pale Ale Either Avg. ABV: 5.2-5.8% Our APA is golden in color and quite bitter with a high hop aroma. Very crisp and refreshing. Porter: Porter Non-Filtered Avg. ABV: 4.4-5.2% Our porter is black in color and medium in body. It has a roasted malt flavor and a dry finish with a taste of coffee. Give ‘Em Helles: Munich Style Helles Filtered Avg. ABV: 4.8-5.5% This Helles is light gold in color and very clear. It has a slight sweetness and slight hop bitterness. Helles is a very clean and crisp refreshing summer Lager. Look for it in the summer months. Irish Red: Irish Red Filtered Avg. ABV: 4.9-5.5% Our Irish red ale is red in color and clear. It has higher malt sweetness due to the caramel malt used in the brewing process. It has a low hop flavor and aroma. Jamie’s Malt Liquor: Malt Liquor Filtered Avg. ABV: 7.0-7.5% This malt liquor is high in alcohol but still very refreshing. Low hop bitterness makes it maltier. Burning Kilt Scot’s Ale: Scottish Ale Filtered Avg. ABV: 5.4-5.8% The burning kilt is a Scottish ale that is brewed with a small amount of peated malt (distiller’s malt). This gives the beer a smoky aroma and flavor. It has a copper to red color and a very refreshing maltiness. Kind Rye IPA (IPA): India Pale Ale Either Avg. ABV: 5.2-5.8% The Kind Rye IPA is our IPA and is brewed with a small amount of rye to provide this beer with a unique flavor and aroma. This beer is gold to Amber color, very bitter, crisp and dry with a high hop aroma. Dos Czechies: Vienna Style Lager Filtered Avg. ABV: 4.9-5.5% Dos Czechies is not to be confused with Dos Equis. Our Vienna Style lager gets its name from the addition of a Czech Saaz hop variety. Characterized by a amber color and a clean malty profile that is balanced by hop flavor and bitterness, this lager makes for a nice spring and summer refreshment. Look for it in the late spring to early fall. Karneval Kölsch (Light): German Style Kölsch Filtered Avg. ABV: 4.4-5.2% Our house light beer. Kölsch is a light German ale characterized by a straw color with a subtle fruitiness from the fermentation process. It is lightly hopped and offset by malt sweetness. Cerise Belgian Ale: Fruit Beer Filtered Avg. ABV: 6.0-7.2% This Strong Belgian Golden Ale enjoys the addition of cherries into its flavor and aroma. Its color is golden and in some cases light red. Belgian ales have a unique flavor profile that compliments the cherries quite nicely Oktoberfest: Oktoberfest/Märzen Filtered Avg. ABV: 5.2-5.8% Famous for being the global drink of the German holiday; Our Oktoberfest is amber in color with a nice malty flavor. Hop bitterness is low to medium. Look for it in the fall. Winterfest: Spice Beer Non-Filtered Avg. ABV: 5.5-6.0% Our holiday beer is amber-brown in color with an aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg and oranges. The flavor is malty and sweet from the molasses. What sets it apart from other winter beers is the usage of pumpkin in the brewing process. Look for it in the winter months. .
