Other professional experience

Head of the French Translation Department and Interpreter - Rotary International, Evanston (Illinois), March 1989 to September 1994 Responsibilities included supervising and managing a staff of five translators, editing translators' work, and editing production department proofs, translating publications, promotional material, speeches, administrative and legal documents relating to the organization, as well as serving as an interpreter at international meetings. Subjects included medicine, development, engineering, finance and economics. Worked with WHO on polio eradication.
