Executive Summary The regional Universal Transit Pass (U-Pass) provides eligible students at participating post-secondary institutions with unlimited travel on Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) and participating regional transit providers at a discounted rate for the school term. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, post-secondary institutions are continuing to deliver learning online and holding a limited number of classes and labs on campus into the spring and summer 2021 terms. Consequently, U-Pass was paused for the fall and winter terms, and that arrangement is recommended to be extended to the spring and summer terms in 2021. Effective September 2020, temporary measures were put in place to support students affected by the pause on U-Pass. These include access to the Ride Transit Program for qualifying students and an expansion of the age eligibility for youth fare products for post-secondary students as well as seniors fare products. Extending these temporary measures for the spring and summer terms would continue to address the gap for affected students. This follows the award in December 2017 by Qatar Rail of a contract to operate and maintain Qatar’s first urban rail transport network for a period of 20 years. The network includes three automated metro lines in Doha, the Qatari capital, and four tram lines located in the city of Lusail. On 8 May 2019, the Doha Metro Red Line South opened to the public. Initial operation includes 13 out of 18 stations of the line, which will connect Al Qassar in the North to Al Wakrah in the South. For this first stage of the launch, service will be ensured from Sunday to Thursday, from 8am to 11pm. It is an important stage for testing the Doha Metro system with passengers, providing an opportunity to evaluate and review the performance in preparation for the full operation of the network in 2020. This major urban project is of crucial importance for the region as 90% of the Qatari population currently live in Doha and its surrounding suburbs (equivalent to 2.6 million people). Qatar wants to make the city of Doha more attractive to visitors and facilitate the daily journeys of the population as the country prepares for the post-fuel extraction era. The Doha metro will be completely automated and driverless, incorporating three lines (Red, Green and Gold) 75km of track and 37 stations.

A Title VI/Environmental Justice analysis was conducted on the Pittsburg Center Station on March 19, 2015. Per the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Title VI Circular (Circular) 4702.1B, Title VI Requirements and Guidelines for Federal Transit Administration Recipients (October 1, 2012), the District is required to conduct a Title VI Service and Fare Equity Analysis (Title VI Equity Analysis) for the Project's proposed service and fare plan six months prior to revenue service. Accordingly, staff completed an updated Title VI Equity Analysis for the BART to Antioch (Project) service and fare plan, which evaluates whether the Project’s proposed service and fare will have a disparate impact on minority populations or a disproportionate burden on low-income populations based on the District’s Disparate Impact and Disproportionate Burden Policy (DI/DB Policy) adopted by the Board on July 11, 2013 and FTA approved Title VI service and fare methodologies.

(Kansas City, Missouri) – The sound of local jazz will fill Main Street as the KC Streetcar debuts its latest streetcar wrap in collaboration with Art in the Loop. Around 4 p.m., Friday, June 25., the 2021 Art in the Loop KC “Jazz” Streetcar will debut at the Union Station Streetcar stop located at Pershing and Main Street. In addition to art on the outside of the KC Streetcar, the inside of the streetcar will feature live performances from percussionist Tyree Johnson and Deremé Nskioh on bass guitar. “We are so excited to debut this very special KC Streetcar wrap,” Donna Mandelbaum, communications director with the KC Streetcar Authority said. “This is our fourth “art car” as part of the Art in the Loop program and each year the artists of Kansas City continue to push the boundaries on how to express their creativity on a transit vehicle.” Jazz: The Resilient Spirit of Kansas City was created by Hector E. Garcia, a local artist and illustrator. Garcia worked for Hallmark Cards for many years as an artist and store merchandising designer. As a freelance illustrator, he has exhibited his “Faces of Kansas City Jazz” caricature collections in Kansas City jazz venues such as the Folly Theater and the Gem Theater. In addition to being an artist, Garcia enjoys Kansas City Jazz – both listening to it and playing it on his guitar.
