— The Control of Smoking and Consumption of Tobacco Product Law was enacted in May 2006 and entered into force in May 2007. — It defines no-smoking area as well as those with designated smoking rooms. — Notifications defining the caption and signage of no- smoking area and criteria of designated smoking area were released in March 2014. — According to that notification, all indoor public places would be 100% smoke-free places. Negative impacts of smoking on socio-economic status similarly that of second hand smoke indicate smoke-free places and cities are in urgent need. We can get clean air only by creating smoke-free place/ cities with the efforts, compliances to the regulations laid down in the law by local government, parliamentarians, related departments and public.
