The Village Council is the Legislative branch and sets all Village policy. The Village Manager is the head of the Executive branch and is responsible for the administration of those policies. The Parade begins at Groves High School traveling north on Evergreen to Beverly Road and proceeds to Beverly Park. The parade features local organizations, mascots, Girl Scout Troops, and Boy Scout Troops – just to name a few. The Carnival is held in Beverly Park with rides, games, entertainment, and refreshments. If you would like to volunteer to help with this event, please contact Janice Hausman at 248-647-1238.

The Memorial Day Ceremony takes place around the flagpole at Beverly Park where we remember the men and women who lost their lives serving this country. The Grand Marshal of the parade and local dignitaries speak during the ceremony.

FUN RUN & WALK Sponsored by the Beverly Hills Lions Club, the Memorial Day Fun Run and Walk features a four-mile run and a two-mile walk which begins and ends at Beverly School. For a small entrance fee, participants receive a t-shirt and trophies are awarded to runners/walkers in all age categories.

LIONS CLUB OF BEVERLY HILLS VILLAGE WOMAN’S CLUB OF BEVERLY HILLS The Beverly Hills Lions are men and women who are dedicated to serving our The Village Woman’s Club of Beverly Hills sponsors fundraising events and returns the community needs through community service by helping to fund events. The Lions Club invites you to have dinner with them so you can learn more about the events they sponsor, such as Project Kidsight and the annual Candy Cane Collection. Project Kidsight provides free vision screenings to children ages 6 months and up. It’s fast, non-invasive, and has an accuracy rating of 98%. Screenings are held at Baldwin Public Library. The annual Candy Cane Collection is held in late November to December. Proceeds support charities that assist the blind and speech and hearing impaired in the immediate area.
