The Village Council is the Legislative branch and sets all Public Services Director Thomas Meszler Village policy. The Village Manager is the head of the Executive branch and is responsible for the administration of those policies. [email protected] COUNCIL Planning & Zoning Administrator The Council makes policy in the form of laws, ordinances, and resolutions. Council meets twice a month on the first and third Tuesday at Erin LaPere 7:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building. All meetings are open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend. The regular Council meet- [email protected] ings are broadcast via public access on cable television and via web stream on the Village website, www.villagebeverlyhills.com. Utility Billing Clerk The Council elects a president and president pro-tem. The president of the Council presides at meetings and is the ceremonial head of the Chandá Simmons Village. Each councilperson is a liaison to an advisory Board or Commission which makes recommendations to the Council as a whole.
