The most wonderful season of the year is here again. This year, the playful Christmas fairy casts a dazzling spell over Goodwood Park Hotel, enchanting the grand dame with alluring festive sweets and irresistible savoury indulgence.

The 2019 Goodwood Park Hotel Christmas takeaway repertoire introduces new sweet delights such as the charming Whimsical Fairy , the captivating Crystal Glacier Log Cake, the vibrant showstopper Merry Cubes, the decadent Salted Caramel Brownie Bar, and enticing Gingerbread Figurines.

Drawing on the hotel’s traditions of Asian-inspired Yuletide fare, the new savoury collection presents the succulent Roasted Pandan Scented Turkey with Mantou Kaya Nibbles & Housemade Chilli and gratifying festive treats such as Turkey Mantou Slider and Pan- Fried Turkey and Chive Gyoza.

The hotel’s renowned dining establishments – Coffee Lounge, Gordon Grill and L’Espresso will also present Christmas and New Year set menus and festive spread. More information on festive dine-in promotions is available from Pages 6 to 10.

Takeaway gourmet treats will be available at The Deli from 1 to 26 December 2019. Advance orders of five days are required, and guests may visit The Deli from 9am to 9pm daily to place their takeaway orders. Roasted Pandan Scented Turkey with Mantou Kaya Nibbles (12 pieces) & Housemade Chilli ($238 nett; serves 8 to 12) This year, Goodwood Park Hotel’s signature Asian-inspired turkey pays homage to local flavours. The new Roasted Pandan Scented Turkey is steeped in a marinade of and fresh pandan extract and slow-roasted to perfection. The result – subtle aromatic hints of pandan accentuated with the natural sweetness of honey. The succulent roasted bird is served with the sweet-savoury Mantou Kaya Nibbles – a flavourful turkey stuffing with sautéed shallots, shiitake mushrooms, and mantou, filled with luscious kaya. The Housemade Chilli rounds up the indulgence with a piquant touch.

Turkey Mantou Slider ($36 nett for 6 pieces; $58 nett for 10 pieces) The new Turkey Mantou Sliders are the perfect festive treats for all types of Christmas celebrations. Inspired from the well-loved local snack – kong bak bao, also known as braised pork belly buns, the mouth-watering highlights flavourful deep-fried mantou buns packed with tender braised turkey, yam and pickled white onion, and adorned with a touch of gold for a festive shimmer.

Pan-fried Turkey and Chive Gyoza ($24 nett for 10 pieces) Another great accompaniment for festive feasting is the Pan-fried Turkey and Chive Gyoza. Each delicate handcrafted dumpling is encased with generous filling of turkey melded with chopped chives and lightly pan-fried for a delightful crisp skin. These savoury morsels are offered with tangy black vinegar and fine slivers of fresh on the side.

Crystal Glacier Log Cake ($82 nett for 1kg) The dazzling Crystal Glacier Log Cake, inspired by the splendour of Winter Wonderland, will enthral the most discerning festive gourmands this holiday. The white chocolate glazed masterpiece is intricately bejewelled and crowned with pastel milk chocolate shards. Within the mesmerising showstopper is a delicate almond sponge layer encasing creamy mascarpone, apple mousse and lingonberries, sitting on a base of milk chocolate hazelnut fudge.

Whimsical Fairy Cake ($65 nett for 1kg) Donning a magical charm this season is the captivating Whimsical Fairy Cake. This enchanting masterpiece showcases fragrant sandwiching strawberry jam.

Merry Cubes ($88 nett for 1 set) Adding a playful touch to the festive collection is the colourful Merry Cubes. The three tiers of sweet treats present 25 vibrant entremets of six delectable flavours – strawberry, orange, blueberry, lychee, mango and green tea – encased in 6 different coloured velvety coats. A wonderful party dessert as festive revellers can simply help themselves to each petite cake.

A grand cake of moist is covered in a luscious coat of milk chocolate and hazelnut bits. Goodwood ‘Mao Shan Wang’ Durian Christmas Log Cake ($78 nett for 500g) Renowned for its delectable durian pastries, the hotel continues to offer this decadent treat that is plump with fresh ‘Mao Shan Wang’ durian pulp folded within fluffy layers of vanilla sponge, promising a luxurious delight for every durian lover.

Slow-roasted Ibérico Pork Belly with Crackling, Pickled Cabbage, Apple Sauce and Pork Jus ($348 nett; serves 6 to 8) Limited to 25 orders per day, the perfectly succulent Ibérico pork belly, coiled around hearty wedges of carrots, onions, and celery, is roasted for over three hours with sherry vinegar and white wine. Accompanying this long-standing festive delight are tangy pickled white cabbage, Pommery mustard, housemade Granny Smith apple sauce, and pork jus that has been infused with flavourful smoked bacon.
