Key Concepts

River of Time The River of Time displays up to 48 hours of information, which includes up to 24 hours of historical data (past) information or up to 24 hours of future (scheduling) information. The display contains a time axis above the bars. The center of the time scale is marked with the current date and time and is labeled with the title Now. A vertical line is used to show the Now condition, which separates the History and Schedule halves of the display. The display, including the time axis, is automatically updated with new information as the clock progresses. Each bar is made up of adjacent segments. A bar segment in the display represents the State and Status of a binary (input, data, or output) point object. The segment length is proportional to the time the point object was in that state/status. The color of a segment represents the State and Status condition of the point object. To quickly identify a bar segment, a displays object information when the cursor is placed over a bar segment. Figure 3-1 is an example of the River of Time display with .
