Logo Concept

Colour Versions

The Logo can be used in the following colour versions: 1) Full Colour | b) Full Colour 2) 3-Colour Blue | b) 3-Colour Yellow FULL COLOUR FULL COLOUR YELLOW 3) 2-Colour Blue | b) 2-Colour Yellow 4) 1-Colour Blue | b) 1-Colour Yellow 5) Black | b) White/Reverse The vertical format of the We Gatherin’ Barbados 2020 Logo are shown here. Please note that it is the same for the horizontal format. Please note that no other colour 3-COLOUR BLUE 3-COLOUR YELLOW versions will be permitted. The Blue logotype versions of the logo must only be used on coloured backgrounds, while the Yellow logotype versions of logo must only be used on dark backgrounds. To maintain legibility, the We Gatherin’ Barbados 2020 logo must never appear in yellow against a white background or blue against a black background. 2-COLOUR BLUE 2-COLOUR YELLOW The files can be downloaded from pg 13.

THERE ARE SUPPLIED IN THE NOTED COLOUR VARIANTS AND FILE FORMATS Colour Variants: 1. Full Colour – This version is full four colour process (CMYK) with gradients and may have effects included. CMYK uses those four colours to create millions of colours, shades and . In this digital era, this version is quite applicable, and it is also designed for offset printing. Generally, it should be used on white and simple, light coloured backgrounds. 2. Spot Colour – This version utilises the colour specifications where each colour is identified by a specific colour. Dependent on your logo design this may mean that more than 4 colours will have to be printed. This version is especially useful for printing or embroidery on fabric and merchandising. 3. Black – A one colour version. Especially for use in applications such as one colour embroidery, screen printing and merchandising. This artwork can be used for printing in single colours like the blue and yellow. 4. White (Reverse) – to be used on simple colour or dark backgrounds

Two File Formats: 1. eps files are vector files. This means that they can be reduced to the size of a tie pin or increased to a billboard without to loss of quality of your logo. The files therefore will always be clean and sharp providing a strong positive image of your logo and . Generally, you would not be able to open an .eps as they require the correct software/ programme to view and use. eps are the professional files which should always be supplied to vendors who work on artwork, signs, ads, merchandising, etc. 2. png files are image files. They cannot be increased without the distortion of your logo by pixilation, soft or ragged edges and would therefore impact negatively on your logo and brand image. png are for your internal use and for web use only. Do not distort your logo. Always press the shift button to constrain the proportions of your logo when increasing or decreasing in size
