The Port of Tromsø is owned by the municipality of Tromsø. Our mission is to

Fishery The strategic location to fishing fields in the Norwegian Sea and Barents Sea has made Tromsø the largest Fishing port in Norway. Tromsø have several cold Storage warehouses with high capacity. A number of businesses serving the fishing fleet make Tromsø a highly efficient port.
Logistic Tromsø is the main logistic hub in Northern Norway, and several logistic operators have storages and ware- houses in the port area. A large number of containers are daily transported between Tromsø and national and international destinations.
Tourism Tromsø is a popular tourist destination and welcomes cruise ships all year round. The high capacity of hotel rooms and frequent flights, make Tromsø ideal for turnaround operations for small and medium size cruise ships.
