This Friday June 17 and Saturday June 18, 2011, there will be concerts by the musical group “U2” taking place at Angel Stadium of Anaheim with an anticipated attendance of over 50,000 people each night. As a result, traffic will be heavily impacted in the area surrounding the stadium.

• The concerts are slated to start at 7:00 PM. • The stadium parking lot will be open at 8:00 AM to facilitate a wrist-banding process for individuals presently possessing field tickets. • Fans are encouraged to arrive early. Please allow ample time to arrive at your destination, understanding that many others will be traveling to and departing the area at the same time. • Friday is a normal work day. As such, some off-site parking lots may be unavailable because businesses in the area will be using their parking lots for normal business activity. • Because of vehicular traffic for those traveling to this venue, combined with normal commuter traffic, some traffic delays can be anticipated. • Concert attendees may wish to consider using public transportation.A Metrolink station is located in the stadium parking lot. • People not going to this venue are asked to avoid the area during peak traffic time and take alternate routes. • We encourage people to carpool to reduce the number of vehicles attempting to locate parking. • Alternate off-site parking will be available at Honda Center and other areas surrounding Angel Stadium. • Please follow the directions of traffic control personnel, who wish to get you to the closest parking locations in a timely manner. • The possession and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages in the parking lots of Angel Stadium of Anaheim and Honda Center is prohibited, and police will be enforcing this law. • Re-sale or purchase of tickets from re-salers on stadium property is prohibited. • To prevent from being victimized by counterfeiters, you should purchase event tickets from authorized dealers & brokers.
