DECEMBER 13 Organization: Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Orange County Website: www.casaholidayluncheon.com Friends of CASA Annual Holiday Luncheon & Fashion Show will be held at the Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point. Founded by the Junior League, Friends of CASA began as small group of dedicated women who came together to support CASA’s work benefiting children in the foster care system. Past fashion show partners through South Coast Plaza have included Intermix and Jimmy Choo (2017), Ted Baker London (2016) and Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet (2015). A champagne reception with a silent auction and a Starfish Wish Tree of “wishes” from the children CASA serves is a cornerstone to this amazing fundraiser.

The 51st annual Christmas Carol Ball, hosted by Hoag Hospital Foundation, broke records Idit Ferder and Moti Ferder of Lugano Diamonds at the Friends of CASA Holiday Luncheon raising more than $1.79 million in support of Hoag CHARITY-Guide_Layout 1 1/15/18 2:52 PM Page 47 CHARITY-Guide_Layout 1 1/15/18 2:52 PM Page 48
