ACTIVITY As part of the 2021 Bastille Day ceremonies, 1 Temporary Prohibited Area (ZIT DPSA Paris) and 7 Temporary Restricted Areas (ZRT 1, 2, 3, 4, PO Alpha, PO Bravo and Lift Down) have been created for : - the air show and its rehearsal (ZRT 1, ZRT 2), - the implementation and dispersion of the air show and its rehearsal (ZRT 3, ZRT 4 and ZRT LIFT DOWN), - the implementation of a specific aviation security plan (“DPSA”) to protect the 2021 Bastille Day (14 July) ceremonies (ZIT DPSA Paris, ZRT 2, ZRT Lift Down, ZRT PO Alpha and ZRT PO Bravo).

STATUS ZIT DPSA PARIS : Temporary Prohibited Area (ZIT) coexisting with the portions of airspace with which it overlaps.

ZRT 1, 2, 3, 4, PO Alpha, PO Bravo and ZRT Lift Down: Temporary Restricted Areas (ZRT) coexisting with the controlled airspace with which they overlap and replacing the portions of Restricted Areas with which they overlap.

SERVICES PROVIDED OAT : control, flight information and alerting are provided within the ZRTs and the ZIT by the managing authorities.

GAT: within the portions of ZRT coexisting with controlled airspace, the usual ATC units provide, to users cleared into the ZRT, air traffic services in accordance with the class of this controlled airspace.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES  As part of the DPSA, Areas TRA 10 C2 or C3 (FR27) and/or TSA 8 A or 8 B (FR29) will be activated for Defence acitivities : - on 08, 09, 12 and 13 July 2021 from 1030 to 1630 (one or several days may be cancelled by NOTAM), - on 14 July 2021 from 0500 to 1330  On 11 JUL, 0600, to 14 JUL, 2000, ZRT “St Cyr l'École", published by NOTAM, will be active for Ground forces helicopters involved in the air show.  On 13 JUL from 1200 to 1600, and on 14 JUL from 0530 to 1300, ZRT "Montlhéry", published by NOTAM, will be active due to unmanned aircraft activity for Ministry of Defense.

All activities (with or without winching) including model ACFT, aerobatics, parachuting, gliding and power-gliding, paragliding (powered or not), ULM without transponder (mode 3/A and C), gyroplanes, airships, balloons (free, moored or skin balloons), hang-gliding, and any other flying craft (powered or not, manned or unmanned) are suspended.

(1) Follow the instructions of the usual ATC unit; however, especially during the air show and its rehearsal, or for aviation security reasons (DPSA): - specific measures to control air traffic flow, which could go as far as temporary suspension of flights, may be implemented at the aerodromes of PARIS CHARLES DE GAULLE (LFPG), PARIS ORLY (LFPO), PARIS LE BOURGET (LFPB), TOUSSUS LE NOBLE (LFPN), PONTOISE (LFPT), MELUN VILLAROCHE (LFPM) and BEAUVAIS (LFOB). These measures, announced by PARIS CHARLES DE GAULLE APP and PARIS ORLY APP Control Centers, will be managed by the Aviation Activity Coordination Unit (C2A2) optimally, so that activity at these aerodromes is brought back to normal as quickly as possible. - real time restrictions may be added to meet military authorities demand, - Air force drones may fly into this area, in coordination with the applicable ATS unit.

(2) Entry prohibited and compulsory avoidance, except for the aircraft conducting the following missions, and upon authorization from the Aviation Activity Unit of Coordination (C2A2), with the conditions described below : - - urgent assistance, rescue and public safety missions, when conducting these missions is not compatible with the ZIT and/or ZRTs avoidance, - - Defence-related missions.

Authorization request : The activation of urgent missions will be notified as soon as possible by phone to the C2A2 to obtain an authorization for each flight. The following information will be given : - justification of operation, type of mission. For Emergency Medical Service (EMS) (SAMU) helicopters not based in the “Ile de France” area, the pilot will also give the phone number of the EMS control unit they belong to, - number and type of aircraft, - call sign, - take-off and landing airfields, routes, altitude, times, - transponder code in use (a transponder code may be imposed). Confirmation of each flight will be notified to the C2A2 by phone, before take-off. Radio contact will be mandatory throughout the ZIT or the ZRTs.

ATS procedures : the usual operating procedures must be complied with; however, especially during the air show and its rehearsal or for aviation security reasons (DPSA), real time restrictions may be introduced to meet military authorities demand.

Because of this, except for the missions described above, all local activities and VFR transit are suspended on every aerodrome, airport and helipad located in ZRT 1, ZRT 2 and ZIT DPSA PARIS : PARIS LE BOURGET (LFPB), PARIS CHARLES DE GAULLE (LFPG), PARIS ORLY (LFPO), PARIS ISSY LES MOULINEAUX (LFPI), TOUSSUS LE NOBLE (LFPN), LOGNES EMERAINVILLE (LFPL), CHELLES LE PIN (LFPH), SAINT CYR L’ECOLE (LFPZ), CHAVENAY VILLEPREUX (LFPX), BEYNES THIVERVAL (LFPF), ENGHIEN MOISSELLES (LFFE), PERSAN BEAUMONT (LFPA), ETREPAGNY (LFFY), MANTES CHÉRENCE (LFFC), SAINT ANDRE DE L’EURE (LFFD), LES MUREAUX (LFXU), PONTOISE CORMEILLES EN VEXIN (LFPT), LA FERTE-ALAIS (LFFQ), MELUN VILLAROCHE (LFPM), FONTENAY TRESIGNY (LFPQ), MEAUX ESBLY (LFPE), LE PLESSIS BELLEVILLE (LFPP).

(3) Overriding the provisions mentioned in (2), AD circling may be authorised by the Air Force Liaison Detachment available at the following ADs : PERSAN BEAUMONT (LFPA), PONTOISE CORMEILLES EN VEXIN (LFPT), LA FERTE-ALAIS (LFFQ), MELUN VILLAROCHE (LFPM), FONTENAY TRESIGNY (LFPQ), MEAUX ESBLY (LFPE), LE PLESSIS BELLEVILLE (LFPP).

(4) Gliding activities suspended : Due to holding pattern joining procedures before the air show and/or its rehearsal and dislocation after the air show and/or its rehearsal, gliding activities are suspended altogether in the following Areas : - within ZRT 1, 2, 3 and 4, - within Restricted Areas LF-R 3100 BEYNES, LF-R 3104 MANTES, LF-R 3106 BAILLEAU, LF-R 3103 COULOMMIERS, LF-R 3102 COMPIEGNE, LF-R 3101 BUNO.

(5) All activities are suspended in the following Areas : LF-D 226 A Étampes Ouest, LF-D 227 A/B/C, LF-D 568 A/B Frileuse, LF-D 588 Vernon, LF-R 119 A/B Bouard, ZRT Beynes (see AIP Sup 067/21) and winching activities No 889 Thoiry, No 873 Vesly, No 878 Lery-Poses, No 915 Quatremare and No 916 Quittebeuf.

(6) All activity is suspended in Areas LF-R 35 A and B TOUSSUS LE NOBLE, LF-R 262 ENGHIEN, LF-R 3107 CHAVENAY and aerobatics activity No 6203 CHAVENAY, LF-R 3109 LA FERTE ALAIS and aerobatics activity No 6216 LA FERTE ALAIS, LF-R 3110 PERSAN and aerobatics activity No 6204 PERSAN, LF-R 3111 BIEVRES and parachuting activity No 253 BIEVRES, LF-R 188 SAINT LUBIN DE LA HAYE, and winching activity No 889 THOIRY.

(7) All activity is suspended in Areas LF-R 119 A and B BOUARD.
