Enjoying a fabulous position surrounded by open countryside, Ellers has been a well-loved family home for 25 years. Here are a few of our favourite things… • Grade II character and charm - walk in through the imposing nine panelled front door with decorative latch plate and feast your eyes on the many original features; flagged floors, mullion windows with chamfered reveals, window seats, ceiling beams, stone fireplaces and the panelled internal doors (most with Suffolk latches). • Unspoilt, Ellers offers you the chance to put your own stamp on a period house. • Embrace the space - with an approximate gross internal area of 2791 sq ft (259.3 sq m) there are three reception rooms, a study and a farmhouse kitchen with the quintessential Rayburn, four bedrooms, a large bathroom and plenty of undereaves storage. The attached barn (approximate gross internal area of 596 sq ft [55.4 sq m]) is perfect as a workshop, tool and garden store. • Splendid isolation - if you want to hear a pin drop, this could be the one for you. In a large garden with stone walls there are fields surrounding the property. Look all around and there are 360° views across the valley and up to the fells to the rear. Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life with this peaceful haven. • Got a dream? There is a large 'anything' room on the second floor; with space for the Scalextric it’s a great playroom, would make an excellent den, music or cinema room or be perfect for any number of hobbies. • They say that a good drive gives an enormous sense of well-being and it’s certainly true in this case. A private drive leads to a turning circle in front of the house with plenty of room for cars. The large garden is unfussy and laid to lawn - perfect for energetic children, a few chickens or for your grand landscaping plans. There is also an open fronted car port or possibly log store so you can stock up for winter.
