Aug. 31 Saturday to Sept.8 Sunday, 2019 Fly to Geneva, Switzerland (fly to Bern or Luzern is also OK.)

I hope you can take care your own flight, car rental, train/cable car tickets, hotel/campground reservation, meals, and hiking gears. We just meet at the trailhead each day and do the hike together. Most of the hikes start with a cable car ride which could be very expensive. You can purchase Swiss Half Fare Card ($118 CHF) to get discount. Make sure the hotels you choose have free parking space.

9/2 Monday Morning: take train (Good Morning ticket) to visit Jungfrau (top of Europe) ($$$) or hike the Eiger Trail (EIGERLETSCHER – ALPIGLEN, 6KM, 3 hours, 760 M elevation gain) Afternoon: Hike from Kleine Scheidegg train station to Mannlichen (4.3 km, 170m descent), to Wengen (5.8 km, 900 m descent), to Lauterbrunnen (2.9 km, 479 m descent), train is available at Wengen and Lauterbrunnen¬

9/3 Tuesday Park car at Stechelberg, take cableway to Murren (a car free town) , then take another cable way to Birg then Schilthorn. ($52) (Features: Thrill Walk, Bond World exhibition, and the 360° Restaurant Piz Gloria) Walk back from Schilthorn to Muren (6.5 KM, 1200 M elevation loose) Optional: Visit Trummelback Falls Drive from Lauterbrunnen to Tasch, 121 KM, 2.5 hour drive (Eu25 for car on train to pass Tunnel), then take shuttle train to Zermatt. Zermatt is a car free town.

9/6 Friday: Morning take cable car to Mt Midi, on the way back, visit Glacier des Bossons, take Montenvers Mer de Glace train back to Chamonix.
