Good of Order: none

Treasurers Report: Jeff motions to approve minutes. Yvonne seconds and all approve.

Secretary Report: March minutes. Jeff motions to approve. Yvonne seconds and all approve.

Pool Report: The display case at the park is broken again. Jeff says should get some clear packing tape and just put it over the top of the holes for now. *Construction has stopped for the last 2 days at the pool house. Gus says he’s not sure when they are working on it. It should completed by the last week in May. Doors have been changed out on the pool side. 1 door was rotted and 1 was delaminated. The walls and fiber boards that are being changed will make huge improvements to the pool house. We’ve replaced 1 door and 2 locks for mechanical rooms. We have double key locks now on the pool side bathroom doors. The leaking roof was fixed. The boys urinal was replaced for $400 with new valve with flusher so it meters proper amount of water to carry waste away.

*Gus and Jill: would like to re-key all locks. Melissa says she is going to buy a key box that will hold all the keys. If someone doesn’t turn in their pool keys at the end of the season they will not receive their checks.

*Jill: are we going to do anything about people using the pool during the summer to shower on a regular basis because they have no power? Board: we can’t do anything about this since they pay their dues. If they aren’t paying their dues, then we can tell them they cannot come in. It is their pool also.

PFM: we’ve had 1 application from Martin Gerard. He was interviewed. He is 65 and has pool experience. He doesn’t travel and has apartment management experience. Yvonne is going to be checking his references. He will have to take a drug test and another meeting will be planned to decide if we will hire him. He lives at 6531 192nd and has been in the association for 20 years. Melissa: the whole board should meet before we decide to hire him.

Park Report: Speed signs are up only on north end of the street by park. Signs for the display case will read: In case of emergency please call 911. If you have a non-emergency such as vandalism, unwelcome park visitors, etc…please call 863-6384 (The Bonney Lake Police Department)

Keith- have observed people parking outside fence. I think we should change the time from 6 to 8 for closing. Jeff-It is clearly posted in Reader Board saying what time the gates close. Let’s add the following to the reader board: Hours are Mar 1st through Oct 31st are summer hours and Nov 1st through Feb 28th are winter hours.

Shed: New dimensions quoted $2178.00 with vinyl coated steal shed. Keith: if we do it ourselves it probably will be roughly $400 to just reside it. 12 foot sheets to reside the shed are approximately $400 and the doors will not need to be changed. We’d need to drill the material and cut to fit ourselves. We are having a work party on Saturday and Sunday the 28th and 29th of this month. We could do the shed during the work party if enough volunteers show up. Lake Jane Board Report – April 19, 2007 Page 2

Lake Report Lake level is 1 inch above the gate top. Water is clear even though it looks muddy. Weeds haven’t started growing yet. On Sunday the 29th we will meet with Isabel to do lake monitoring and also the 1st weekend in May. 2, 07

Keith: I saw a man walking to go fishing. He wasn’t a member of the LJE and he wouldn’t leave after I asked him to. I told him I’d call the police if he didn’t leave. A few days later there were 12 people parked at the lower parking lot and out on the islands. I’m not sure if word got out that the police would be called but they haven’t been back since.

Old Business We haven’t heard anything on the Jensen side.

Heller: we’ve sent out 22 notices to the neighbors regarding short platting of her property. No one has responded to us yet. Board may have to vote on this if we don’t get any responses.

Fire House: Dave King said that Vanunu applied for roofing permit. He hasn’t submitted his plans to the city to have it habitable to humans. The city is considering ordering the old fire house be torn down. Vanunu is saying he wants to make it a handicap home. This would be against the R1Zoning and he has exceeded time limited on proceeding with his plans.

Jeff motions to adjourn meeting. Lenore 1st and Yvonne 2nds all agree to adjourn. Adjourned 8:45 Respectfully submitted: ReJena Kilmurray
