Literacy training Integration starts at Noorderpoort. At your own level and at your pace. You attend lessons given by professional and experienced teachers. Integration In addition, you receive homework assistance and are assigned a language coach who helps you with the integration examination. And, with your future State examination in mind, you can start to prepare for a specific course of study or profession and be assigned to a language internship. Obviously we will also help you AdmissionNT2 apply for a DUO loan.

Dutch A2+ Your citizenship education starts with an extensive intake interview. During the interview, we discuss which level is best for you initially and how many lessons you require.

Literacy training If you have not received formal education, or only spent very little time at school, you start with literacy training. You learn to read and write the Dutch language during this course. When you are adequately literate, you can move on to the integration course.

Integration This course prepares you specifically for the Central Integration Exam (Centrale Inburgeringsexamen). You receive intensive examination training and are allocated a personal language coach. The Integration Exam consists of: • Spoken language skills • Listening skills • Reading skills JOB • Writing skills • Knowledge of Dutch Society • Orientation on the Dutch Labour Market Noorderpoort empowers you State examinations B1 and B2 If you have received higher education in your own country, you can integrate via the State Examination in combination with the examination for Knowledge of Dutch Society and Orientation on the Labour Market. State examination B1 tests your language knowledge at intermediate education level. State examination B2 tests your language knowledge at higher education/university level.

AdmissionNT2 For young people (up to the age of 30) who are required to integrate and international transition class (ISK) students. This course is a unique combination of citizenship education and an intermediate education qualification.

Dutch A2+ Have you successfully taken your integration examination and do you want to improve your Dutch further or attend an intermediate education course? This so, this course is ideal.

The teaching locations You can attend our courses at seven locations in the Dutch province of Groningen: • Appingedam • Stadskanaal • Winsum • Groningen • Veendam • Hoogezand • Winschoten

How much does it cost? Noorderpoort sends you a quotation for the integration course. You can pay for the course yourself, or take out a DUO loan to cover the costs. If you have a temporary asylum residence permit, you do not have to repay this loan if you pass the integration exam. We help you to apply for the DUO loan.
