SUMMER AT MARIANN’S SCHOOL OF DANCE Summer is the perfect time to introduce your child to dance, explore a new style, and keep your skills sharp. Whatever your goal, we have a class for you! Creative Beginnings - age 2 ½- young three-year-olds Saturday from 9:00-9:30 AM July 10, 17, 24 and 31 4 Week Session- $72.00 Individual classes- $20.00 Each This inspiring and exciting class is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of dance. Boys and girls learn the basics of movement and rhythm as well as social skills. Age-appropriate material is presented to help children develop gross motor skills, self-expression and self-confidence. Basic ballet terminology will be introduced as dancers embark on a special dance adventure weekly (See the themes below under our 3- 4 ¾ minicamp). Please Note: This class is designed for children who can separate from their parent for the entire class.

Mini Camps for ages 3 -4 ¾ - Choose either Tuesday or Saturday or BOTH! Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 AM- July 13, 20, 27 and August 3 Saturday from 9:30-10:30 AM- July 10, 17, 24, 31 Our 60-minute mini camps will have your little one dancing, singing, and creating! Through movement, music, crafts and games, we will explore a different adventure each week.

Week 1- Unicorns and Rainbows- A magical, mystical journey. Week 2- Teddy Bear Tea Party- Bring your favorite Teddy for some ‘beary’ good fun! Week 3- Princess Academy- Practice your curtsey and refine your royal manners. Week 4- Welcome to the Jungle- Let’s go on a safari.

All four camps for $100.00 (Either Tuesday or Saturday) All eight camps for $175.00 (Tuesdays and Saturdays) Individual day- $25.00 each

Mini Camps for ages 5 – 8 - Choose either Tuesday or Saturday or BOTH! Tuesday from 10:30-12:00 PM – July 13, 20, 27 and August 3 Saturday from 10:30-12:00 PM - July 10, 17, 24, 31 Our 90-minute mini camps will feature ballet, jazz, and hip hop dance at an age appropriate level along with crafts, stories, and games, all designed around the theme!

NEW!! Technique Foundations Focusing on ballet basics incorporated with jumps and turns, these classes are an excellent way for older dancers to take their dance education to the next level. Whether you want to join our dance company or have an edge when you try out for school dance teams, having a strong foundation is imperative. Highly Recommended for dancers ages 9 and up.

Acrobatics Clinics Here is an opportunity to improve your flexibility ad tumbling skills. Whether you are a beginner or have experience, you will focus on the basics as well as the progressions for acrobatic skills.

Age 5-9 Beginner Acrobatics Thursday from 4:30-5:30 PM July 15-August 5

Age 8 & up Intermediate Acrobatics Thursday from 5:30-6:30 PM July 15-August 5 Week 1 and 2 - Cartwheels, Round Offs, and Backbends Week 3 and 4- Front and Back Walkovers
