-School start - 8:35 -School dismissal - 2:55 -Thursdays are minimum days, 1:50 dismissal -3 homeroom classes at each grade level - 31:1 ratio -Comprehensive PE program for all grades -Share campus facilities with MIT How do I apply for North Star?

-Step 1: Complete Schools of Choice Application on RCSD website. -Step 2: Select North Star — link to access admission packet. -Step 3: Complete the on-line application by uploading information and 2 report cards. -Step 4: Testing appointment upon complete admission packet. What does the test look like and how can my child prepare?

-CogAT 7 measures three batteries: Verbal, Non-verbal and Quantitative Reasoning. (9 subtests)

-Test is taken on the computer

Once the application is turned in you will schedule a test date. Test dates are January 20, 27, and Feb. 3. You will know by mid February if you qualified and if you received a spot or are on the waitlist.
