The Downtown Atlanta Ambassador Force provides public safety assistance on city streets and behind the scenes. As First Responders working directly with Atlanta Police, all Ambassadors are equipped with resources and training to promote a safe, enjoyable urban environment and enhance your Downtown experience.
34 Peachtree Street, Suite 200 | Atlanta, GA 404.215.9600 PATROL HOURS 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m. Monday - Sunday ATLANTADOWNTOWN.COM THE AMBASSADOR FORCE patrols the streets of Downtown Atlanta on foot, bicycles, Segways, TRIKKES and ATV’s, covering a 220-block area from North Avenue south to Memorial Drive, and from the Georgia World Congress Center east to the Downtown Connector. We’re here for you - to assist everyone visiting, living, working or studying in Downtown Atlanta.
• We provide emergency assistance. We are trained to assist in medical emergencies and have direct radio contact with emergency responders. Ambassadors can also guide you to the nearest 24-hour pharmacy or healthcare provider. • We escort you or contact the police if you need help. Each of us are in direct radio contact with the Atlanta Police Department, and we’re happy to escort you to your vehicle, hotel or other Downtown destination. We can even help you find your car if you feel disoriented. Don’t hesitate to ask. • We help you find your destination. We know every inch of Downtown and can tell you the best route (by foot, car or MARTA) to any location. We also provide you with one of the most useful tools in any city: a detailed map marked with major attractions, hotels, restaurants and roadways. • We recommend the perfect attractions, restaurants and events to entertain you whether you have an hour, an afternoon or an entire weekend to enjoy the sights and sounds of the center city.
If you don’t spot us patrolling the streets of Downtown, you can find one of us at the Ambassador Information Booth at the intersection of Andrew Young International Boulevard and Peachtree Street.
