K’SONDRA FREDRICKSON | Enologist, Talbott Vineyards Carmel Valley, CA Equipped with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and microbiology K’Sondra landed her first internship at a winery after graduating. That then inspired her to take an internship in New Zealand to learn a different type of winemaking, which led to more internships in California and Australia. She then received her offer to work with Talbott Vineyard’s winemaker David Coventry producing world-acclaimed where she continues to explore enology and making.

LAUREN MCCABE | Operations Manager, William Hill Winery Napa, CA

After seven years in the Navy, Lauren decided to explore the wine industry stating that she “chose the opportunity at William Hill Estate because it was as far away from my comfort zone as I could get.” She learned the ropes with help from her manager and on-the-job training on the bottling line. Today, Lauren oversees operations for the winery. She described her leadership philosophy as “an iron fist wrapped in velvet,” an approach that has earned her team’s respect and led them to many successes.

GINA GALLO | VP Winemaking Estate Wines, Gallo Signature Series Deeply passionate about honoring the history of her family and the craft of winemaking, Gina Gallo is a third-generation winegrower from one of America’s most historic winemaking families. Today, as the winemaker behind Gallo Signature Series, Gina is intimately engaged with the Gallo family’s premier estate vineyards in Napa, Sonoma and Monterey Counties. She values the entrepreneurial history of her family, using her experience and creative vision to craft luxury wines from these exceptional vines.

BRENAE ROYAL | Vineyard Manager, Mount Peak Winery Brenae is the Vineyard Manager for the 575-acre Monte Rosso Vineyard on the eastern hills of Sonoma Valley, one the most acclaimed winegrowing sites in California. She joined E. & J. Gallo Winery in 2013 as an Operations and Viticulture Intern before being named Vineyard Manager in 2015. Brenae says, “Viticulture is still very male-dominated, so to drive more inclusion and diversity is very much an uphill battle.” It’s a battle that Brenae has done anything but back down from.

Zurich native Barbara Widmer is the head winemaker of her family’s acclaimed Tuscan winery, Casa Brancaia. She trained at Domaine des Balisiers in Geneva, Switzerland’s largest producer. She later studied enology at the Swiss Institute for Life Sciences in Wädenswil. She took the reins as winemaker at Brancaia in 1998. Today, Barbara directs Brancaia’s three Tuscan estates, carrying on her family’s tradition of growing the highest quality grapes and crafting exceptional, -driven wines from MasterTuscany. title

SUE WHITE | Owner/Proprietor, Whitehaven Winery Marlborough, NZ

Sue and her late husband Greg started Whitehaven Winery 20 years ago at a time when the earliest wineries were forging Marlborough’s reputation. After the death of her husband in 2007, Sue stepped up to lead the family business. Her determination to continue the Whitehaven brand meant taking on a global stylerole that continues to lead today.

As the Export Manager for La Marca™ Prosecco, Claudia is an exemplary ambassador for the thousands of wine-growers in Treviso, promoting the territory around the world. She joined La Marca in 2008 and continues to manage sales for the brand across numerous countries. Over the years, Claudia has grown a deep appreciation for the art of winemaking parallel to her lifetime love of modern and contemporary art.

LIZ COMTE-MONK| Export Manager Provence, FR As the export manager for Les Maitres Vignerons, a cooperative group that currently represents 13 Chateaux and Caves in Provence. In her role, Liz managers the group’s exports to more than 50 countries. She believes Fleur de Mer Rose’s unique bottle shape and appealing lavender hued label reflects its deep roots in Provence, FR and is an ideal representation of the region..
