Within and after the termination of Phase IV, AUN/SEED-Net aims at contributing our abundant human resources and flourishing network to two crucial initiatives of ASEAN and Japan: the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific, and the Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP). Concretely, AUN/SEED-Net plans to ASEAN Engineering create and strengthen the linkage with potential partners in the target regions, namely South Asia and Journal (AEJ) Africa, to ensure the expansion and continuity of the achievements from Phase I to IV. 4

ASEAN Engineering Journal (AEJ) is an international journal indexed by Scopus, Thai Journal Citation Index Collaborative Education Center (TCI), and ASEAN Citation Index (ACI). AEJ serves as an international platform for scholars, researchers, and students from all over the world, 1 Program (CEP) especially from ASEAN countries, to publish the innovative knowledge and advanced academic research outcomes in the field of engineering. AEJ demonstrates and encourages the exchange of research information and advancement among scholars, which significantly contributes to the development of the strong academic To ensure self-sustainability of AUN/SEED-Net members, Collaborative Education Program (CEP) empowers society and network. Member Institutions to flexibly tailor their own postgraduate curriculum management, activity design and implementation that best fit their needs. Applicants (referred to as ASEAN University A) are required to form an established consortium which consists of the following fundamental bodies: Special Program for Research 1. ASEAN University A: Any AUN/SEED-Net Member Institution except Member Institutions in Singapore and Brunei Darussalam 5 against COVID-19 (SPRAC) 2. Japanese University B: Any university in Japan 3. ASEAN University C (optional): Any university in ASEAN In early 2020, COVID-19 has swept across the globe and posed serious threats to nations worldwide. Amidst 4. JICA and AUN/SEED-Net, in response to the pandemic crisis, decide to launch a new research support Alumni Support program, entitled “The Special Program for Research against COVID-19 (SPRAC)”. 2 Program (ASP) The program aims to achieve research outputs in any engineering field or interdisciplinary areas of research that revolves around COVID-19. SPRAC offers opportunities for research collaboration between Member Institutions (MIs), Japanese Supporting Universities (JSUs), industrial and external partners in ASEAN, AUN/SEED-Net has been providing more than 1,400 scholarships and 200 research projects to ASEAN Japan, South Asia, and Africa. students and academic staff from Member Institutions for more than a decade, and its alumni is widely recognized as a powerful driving force of sustainable development in the region. The Alumni Support Program (ASP) is divided into the Alumni Support Program for Events (ASP-E) and Alumni Support Program for Research (ASP-R), offering support to alumni in different ways. The ASP-E focuses on strengthening the network through events and social gatherings, while ASP-R expands the network through collaborative research.
