Kindergarten – Grade 10th classes meet from 10:00-11:15 a.m. in the school. It is anticipated that the students and their families attend the 11:30 Mass.

First (Penance and First Holy Communion) usually occur in second grade. It required that students participate in faith formation classes or in school religious education classes for six months before he/she begins direct preparation for the sacraments. Direct preparation for these sacraments, which is separate from faith formation classes, will start in Jan 2020.

Confirmation usually occurs in fall of the 11th grade year. So for the 10th students, confirmation will be scheduled in Nov 2020. It is a 2 year process which starts in 9th grade. It is a diocesan expectation that students attend classes, attend a retreat, participate in service to the church and/or community and participate in an interview with Father or catechist. If expectations are not met students will not be able to be confirmed with their class. There will be a required meeting for students and parents in 9th and 10th. The mandatory meeting is scheduled for Sept 17, 2019 in MCH.

Catholic Students who are in 9th grade and want to be Confirmed with their class need to participate in service to the church and/or community and in 10th grade attend a retreat, participate in an interview with Father or catechist and participate in the direct preparation for Confirmation which start in Jan 2020. Classes are on Sundays from 10:00 – 11:15 am with the rest of the Confirmation Students.
