Bosch-AutoZone Project - Operation Procedures

Preparing for the Service Visit:

• Please log onto the program website at www.questmerchandiser.com using the username and password that you set up during your application process.

• Click on the “magnifying ” icon under the “Instructions” column to review and print out the project instructions.

• Click on the “pencil” icon under the report column to view the service completion report that must be filled out upon completion of each visit. Once you click on the “pencil” icon you will then need to click on “Print Version ‐ Click Here” . A pop up window will appear and you will need to click “print this report” to print out a version of the store specific call report. Be sure you print out a new copy of the required service report for each store to take with you to the job site. It is imperative that you use the service report for the specific store and service visit because the unique id number at the top of the page is necessary for you to get credit for the visit.

• DRESS CODE Sneakers and jeans are allowed - no Logo shirts please. NO food, beverages, gum chewing or cell phone usage is ever permitted on the sales floor at any time. Service Rep Statement of Work Instructions – Quest Service Group

1. Quest rep should check the stores operating hours (typically Monday thru Saturday 7:30am- 10:00pm, Sunday 9:00am-9:00pm, but will vary store by store). RE-SLEEVING CANNOT BE DONE ON SATURDAYS

2. Enter store and immediately find store manager. If no manager is on duty, find a store associate. Rep needs to mention that they are working with Bosch to re-sleeve/re- ICON wiper blades (show authoration form, if necessary)

3. Ask store manager/associate to locate re-sleeving kit in back stock room (kits will be marked with a bright orange label with “BOSCH ICON RE-SLEEVING KIT“)

4. Once kit is located, rep needs to ask store manager for the following information:

• Where all of the ICON blades are displayed on the sales floor (there might be stock on an existing merchandising fixture or on an endcap)

• Where additional Bosch ICON stock is located in the back stock room

• If the manager gives the rep approval to re-stock merchandising fixture/endcap if they see inventory of certain lengths running low (loose Inventory in back room stock will be re-sleeved/re-labeled if reps have extra sleeves/ left over)

Kit Contents:

™ Cardboard sleeves of the same length bundled together in quantities of 5 with a strip of 5 labels (5 sleeves/labels of each length will be included in the kit)

5. Take a picture of the merchandising fixture/endcap before re-sleeving activity begins

6. Open up kit and remove sleeve/label bundles (sleeves and labels will be bundled together according to length and part number in packs of 5).

7. Start re-sleeving/re-labeling inventory on planogram and endcap first, before doing stock in the back stock room

8. Make sure to use the cross reference guide found on page 4 of these work instructions

9. Remove old ICON stock off planogram/endcap one length at a time.

NOTE: There are part numbers that contain A, B or OE after the blade length. Pay close attention to which part number is getting pulled off of the shelves to re-sleeve. Be sure to use the cross reference guide to ensure that each product is getting the correct sleeve and label.

10. Slide off old ICON sleeve and set aside.

11. Make sure to match the blade length/old ICON catalog number to the correct new catalog number on the new sleeve using the cross reference guide

12. Take the new ICON sleeve and carefully slide onto blade package so blade adaptor appears in the middle of the cutout in the sleeve

13. Place the label that contains the new catalog number and UPC code neatly on the back of the blister package covering the old ICON catalog number and UPC code. Make sure the catalog part number on the label matches the catalog number on the front of the new sleeve.

14. Once all inventory of the same length is re-sleeved/re-labeled, place the blades back on the peg hooks exactly where they were located before. Also, make sure to look at the price tag above each peg hook to ensure the product is placed on the correct peg.

15. Repeat this activity until all of the inventory on both the merchandising fixture/endcap (if applicable) are re-sleeved/re-labeled with the new ICON package 16. After re-sleeving merchandising fixture/endcap, go to the back stock room and locate additional loose ICON stock

17. Stock may be in individual units or in master . Each master carton contains blades of the same length

Loose ICON blade

18. Using the extra sleeves/labels in the kit (if there are any leftover), re-sleeve and re-label the excess loose stock (using the same directions as above) and return to the shelf. **Reps should NOT re-sleeve/re-label stock in any un-opened master carton. Customer will be able to return any un-opened ICON stock back to their distribution center.

19. After all inventory on the both the floor and back stock room (loose stock only) is re- sleeved/re-labeled, go back to the planogram/endcap and make sure that both are fully stocked with ICON blades. If rep sees that ICON stock is running low on particular lengths, take loose inventory from the back stock room and re-stock the particular peg hook

20. When re-sleeving/re-labeling activity of both the planogram/endcap and back stock room is finished, find store manager or associate and get their approval and sign off on work completed by Quest rep (using call report form provided by Quest/Bosch)

21. If there are excess sleeves/labels left over in the kits, leave them with the store manager or associate

22. Take another picture of planogram/endcap with new sleeve after all work has been completed

23. Upload call report and photos to Quest database
