Vendor Authorization To: Store Managers From: Space Planning Date: September 2016 This letter is to inform Dollar General Store Management that the Driveline Retail Merchandising Representative presenting this letter is authorized to take the following actions in your store between September 26th and October 7th: Hi, my name is _______________________________________________. I am your Driveline Rep. (Driveline Rep – print your first and last name) Today is _______________ (day & date) and the time is __________________. Holiday Air Care Endcap Set-Up (October MAG): Driveline Responsibilities: Work with the MOD to locate the following items: o Header Sign, shelf strips, & adhesive price labels from the 8/30 fulfillment: . One (1) “Glade Endcap Header” package containing the header sign . Six (6) shelf strips from the October Guide Strips packet for the Holiday Air Care Endcap . Adhesive price labels for the Holiday Air Care Endcap from the “Monthly Activity Guide Labels October 2016 – Part 1 – September 30 – W35/October 7 – W36” packet o Six (6) Holiday Air Care PDQ Trays . These were all shipped through the DG DCs and labeled “Hold for Driveline Air Care Displays” Work with the MOD to determine the correct endcap location per the store layout information provided below and in the October Monthly Activity Guide. This endcap is labeled “M CLEAN B: HOLIDAY AIR CARE” in the October MAG. M Clean B: Holiday Air Care Location by Store Format – October MAG The locations noted below are prototypical only. Work with the Manager for actual placement. DG 16 (S-1) = Endcap at the front of the seasonal aisle and to the RIGHT of the Prepaid Endcap DG-13 (S-2) = Endcap at the front of the seasonal aisle and to the RIGHT of the Prepaid Endcap DG-13 Wide (S-2) = Endcap at the front of the seasonal aisle in back of store DG-13 Corner (S-1) = Endcap at the front of the seasonal aisle and to the RIGHT of the Greeting Card Endcap CCS (S-2) = Endcap at the front of the seasonal aisle and to the LEFT of the Battery Endcap CCS Wide (S-2) = Endcap at the front of the seasonal aisle and to the RIGHT of the Battery Endcap RTP & RTK (S-1) = Endcap at the front of the seasonal aisle and to the LEFT of the Prepaid Endcap FTB (HM-1) = Endcap at the front of the Housewares aisle and to the RIGHT of the Reading Glasses Endcap FTB2 (HCP-5) = Endcap at the front of the Value Valley aisle and to the LEFT of the Greeting Card Endcap TD1 & TD2 (S-1) = Endcap at the front of the seasonal aisle and to the LEFT of the Battery Endcap MARKET (S-1) = Endcap at the front of the seasonal aisle and to the LEFT of the Prepaid Endcap Remove all existing product from the endcap and give to the MOD so they can place it in another location. Set the Holiday Air Care Endcap per the October MAG. Take (1) photo after the Holiday Air Care Endcap has been set up. Store Management Responsibilities: Assist the Driveline Rep with locating the following materials: o Header Sign, shelf strips, & adhesive price labels from the 8/30 fulfillment. o Six (6) Holiday Air Care PDQ Trays shipped through the DG DCs and labeled “Hold for Driveline Air Care Displays”. NOTE: The store will be responsible for placing any PDQ trays not found at the time of the Driveline Rep’s visit on the Holiday Air Care Endcap once located. Assist the Driveline Rep with determining the correct endcap location per the store layout information provided in the October Monthly Activity Guide and noted in the chart above. Allow the merchandiser to take a photo at the completion of their visit. Review completed set up with DL Rep and sign off on DL Rep’s work by paper or electronic signature on their mobile device before they leave the store.
