1 oz. Licor 43 2 oz. 1 oz. Lime Juice 8 Basil Leaves 4 Strawberries, 1 to garnish

Muddle all but one of the strawberries with five basil leaves in the bottom of a shaker Add Licor 43, vodka and lime juice, shake well with ice Fill your glass with crushed ice and the remaining basil leaves Strain the cocktail into the glass and garnish with the remaining strawberry

2 parts Domaine De Canton 2 parts Vodka 1 splash

Place all ingredients martini shaker. After shaking, strain into a chilled martini glass.

THE BOULDEVARDIER AUGUST 8, 2017

2 ounces Bourbon or 1 ounce 1 ounce Sweet Garnish: Orange or Cherry

Pour ingredients into a mixing glass and fill with cracked ice. Stir well for 20 seconds and strain into a chilled . Garnish with a cherry or a twist of orange peel.

LUXURY MOJITO AUGUST 15, 2017

8 Mint leaves 1 Lime, sliced 2 oz Rum 1 oz Lime Juice ½ oz Simple Syrup Prosecco

Muddle mint leaves in bottom of glass. Add lime slices, reserving one for garnish. Muddle lime to release the juice. Add additional lime juice, simple syrup, and rum. Stir, then fill tumbler with ice. Top glass with Prosecco and add lime garnish.

PALOMA COCKTAIL AUGUST 23, 2017

1 Grapefruit Wedge 3 oz Grapefruit Juice 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice 1 oz Agave or Simple Syrup 2 oz Splash of Club Soda

Combine grapefruit juice, lime juice, and in glass; stir until sugar is dissolved. Stir in tequila, add ice, and top off with club soda. Garnish with grapefruit wedge.

MONKEY’S BUTT AUGUST 29, 2017

1.5 oz. Licor 43 Heavy Chocolate Syrup

Pour the Licor 43 in a shot glass. Pour a small amount of heavy cream into the glass over the back of a spoon. Squeeze a drop of chocolate syrup into the shot glass to discover how the drink came to be called a Monkey’s Butt. Enjoy!

1.5 oz. Godiva Chocolate 1.5 oz. Creme de Cacao 1 oz. Vodka 1 oz. Half and Half 1 shot Espresso

Chocolate Syrup

Drizzle the inside of a martini glass with chocolate syrup. Mix all ingredients in a shaker with ice and pour into glass.

REAL DEAL MARGARITA SEPTEMBER 13, 2017

1.5 oz Patron Silver or Don Julio Silver Tequila .75 oz or Cointreau 1 oz Lime Juice .5 oz Simple Syrup (or you can substitute Orange Juice)

Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a martini glass rimmed with salt if you wish. Garnish with a lime wedge.

GRAPEFRUIT CRUSH SEPTEMBER 28, 2017

2 oz Grapefruit Vodka 1 oz Triple Sec 2 oz Grapefruit Juice Sparkling Water or Club Soda

Fill glass with ice. Add vodka, triple sec, and grapefruit juice. Fill to top with sparkling water. (Substitute sparkling water with Sprite if you prefer a sweeter drink)

RED HEADED SLUT OCTOBER 5, 2017

½ oz Jagermeister ½ oz Peach Schnapps ½ oz Cranberry Juice

Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a (crooked) shot glass. Bottoms up!

VAMPIRE’S KISS SHOTS OCTOBER 11, 2017

1 cup Raspberries, fresh or frozen (thawed) 2 tbsp Sugar Vodka Baileys Chocolate Syrup

Muddle 1 cup raspberries and 2 tablespoons sugar in a bowl until smooth. In a shaker with ice, mix 1 oz Baileys and .5 oz vodka for each shot. To assemble, spoon 1-2 teaspoons of raspberry purée into each shot glass, fill the remainder with the Baileys and vodka mix and garnish the edge with chocolate syrup. Cheers to a fun Halloween!

Mix all ingredients in a shaker with ice and pour into glass. Add a splash of Sprite if desired.

WHITE CHRISTMAS DECEMBER 14, 2017

1.5 oz Cranberry Vodka (Plain vodka is fine) .75 oz Cointreau 1 Tbsp St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur ½ oz Fresh Lime Juice ½ oz Simple Syrup 1.5 oz White Cranberry juice (Red cranberry juice works if you cannot find white)

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake thoroughly and strain into a martini glass.

WHITE CHOCOLATE LIQUEUR DECEMBER 28, 2017

2 oz good quality White Chocolate, 5 tbsp. Sugar 1/2 cup Heavy Cream, 3/4 cup Whole Milk 1 1/2 tsp. pure Vanilla Extract, 1 cup of White Rum

• Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler, stirring frequently. • Add the sugar and 1/4 cup of the cream. Heat, stirring, until the sugar has dissolved. Add the rest of the cream and the milk and stir until smooth. • Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and rum or vodka. Let cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate overnight. • Skim away any of the fat from the chocolate and cream that has risen to the top and pour into a (very clean) bottle or jar. Keep refrigerated.

HOMEMADE BAILEY’S IRISH CREAM JANUARY 11, 2018

½ cup Heavy Cream, ½ cup Half and Half 14 oz can Sweetened Condensed Milk 1⅔ cup (I used Jameson’s) 1 teaspoon Instant Coffee 2 tablespoons Chocolate Syrup 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract, 1 teaspoon Almond Extract

Combine all ingredients in a blender and set on high speed for 30 seconds. Pour into a tightly sealed container and refrigerate. Shake before using. Will keep for up to 2 months.

2 oz Woodford Reserve 1 oz Chambord Liqueur 1 dash Bitters Maraschino Cherry

Shake ingredients in a shaker with ice and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with a cherry.

LOVE POTION MARTINI FEBRUARY 8, 2018

Perfect for Valentine’s Day! (Of course, every day is Valentine’s Day at the Jones house!)

2 oz Vodka 1 oz Peach Schnapps 2 oz Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice

Rim a martini glass with pink sugar if desired. Set aside. Add ice to cocktail shaker, then add all ingredients. Cover shaker and shake a few times until cold. Pour into prepared glass. Garnish with a cocktail pick of maraschino cherries and strawberries.

2 oz Deep Eddy’s Orange Vodka 2 oz Orange Juice 4 oz Ginger Beer (non-alcoholic) Juice of 1/2 Lime Orange Slices optional: Basil for garnish

GET LUCKY COCKTAIL MARCH 8, 2018

If you’re not into green beer on St. Paddy’s Day, try this refreshing drink to celebrate!

1.5 oz Vodka 1 oz St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur 1 oz Lime Juice 1 drop of Green Food Coloring (optional) Sparkling Water

Combine first four ingredients over ice in a highball glass. Top with sparkling water and garnish with a slice of lime or cucumber.

JALAPENO CUCUMBER MARTINI MARCH 22, 2018

3 oz Vodka ½ oz Cointreau ½ oz Lime Juice ½ oz Simple Syrup 4 slices Cucumber ¼ of a Jalapeno Pepper, seeds removed (unless you like it really spicy!) 4 Mint Leaves

Muddle the cucumber, jalapeno, and mint in the bottom of a martini shaker. Add ice and remaining ingredients. Shake for 30 seconds and strain into a martini glass.

PIMM’S CUP MAY 24, 2018

2 oz Pimm’s 6 oz Lemon Lime Soda (I used Sprite Zero) Strawberries Lime Cucumber Mint Leaves Orange

Cut up fruit and place it in a tall tumbler. Muddle it a bit if you want your drink to be fruity. Fill glass with ice. Add Pimm’s and soda and garnish with mint.

APEROL SPRITZ JUNE 8, 2018

(In honor of our amazing time in Italy last month!)

3 parts Prosecco 2 parts Aperol 1 part Sparkling Water Orange Slice to garnish

Fill wine glass with ice. Add Prosecco and Aperol. Top with splash of sparkling water and garnish with the orange slice. Enjoy!

CELEBRATION MARTINI JULY 5, 2018

1 ½ oz Vodka, ½ oz St. Germain 1 ½ oz Strawberry Coulis (recipe below) Prosecco, Fresh Basil

Combine first three ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake thoroughly and strain into a martini glass. Top with a splash of Prosecco and garnish with a basil leaf.

Strawberry Coulis ¼ cup sugar, ¼ cup water, 1 lb. strawberries (fresh or frozen) Bring the water and sugar to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Add strawberries and cook for 4-5 minutes until soft. Remove from heat and puree mixture until smooth. If desired, strain through cheesecloth to remove seeds.

GIN GIMLET JULY 18, 2018

2 oz Gin ½ oz Lime Juice – or to taste ¾ oz Simple Syrup 1 large Lime Wedge (about ¼ lime) 3 Mint Leaves

In a shaker, muddle the lime wedge and two mint leaves in the simple syrup. Add gin, lime juice, and fill with ice. Shake for 8-10 seconds and strain into coupe glass. Garnish with a lime wheel and a mint leaf.

ROSEMARY GRAPEFRUIT GIN GIMLET AUGUST 2, 2018

2 oz Gin, 1 tbsp Lime Juice, 1 tbsp Grapefruit Juice 1 tbsp Rosemary Simple Syrup (see recipe below), Rosemary Sprig

Add gin, lime, grapefruit and rosemary syrup to cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake to combine then strain and pour over ice. Garnish with sprig of rosemary.

Rosemary Simple Syrup ½ cup sugar, ½ cup water, 1 sprig rosemary Place sugar, water, and rosemary in saucepan and stir to combine as you heat the syrup to a boil. Once all of the sugar has dissolved, let cool. Remove rosemary sprig once cooled and store in a mason jar in the refrigerator.

BLACKBERRY SMASH AUGUST 16, 2018

2 oz Bourbon ½ oz Lime Juice 6-7 Mint Leaves 2-3 Blackberries, plus more for garnish ¾ oz Simple Syrup 1 oz Club Soda or Ginger Beer

Muddle mint leaves and blackberries in a martini shaker. Fill the shaker with ice and add bourbon, lime juice, and simple syrup. Shake well and strain into an old fashioned glass filled with ice. (A large ice cube would be best.) Top with club soda or ginger beer and garnish with a skewer of blackberries and a lime wedge.

CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY MARTINI AUGUST 30, 2018

1.5 ounces Chambord Raspberry Liqueur 1.5 ounces Vodka 0.5 ounce Half and Half Chocolate Syrup

Drizzle the inside of a martini glass with chocolate syrup. Combine remaining ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake thoroughly and strain into the martini glass. Garnish with fresh raspberries if available.

STRAWBERRY LEMON DROP MARTINI SEPTEMBER 14, 2018

3 oz Citrus Vodka (I like Ketel One or Absolute) 2 or 3 fresh Strawberries, finely chopped 1 oz Lemon Juice 1 oz Simple Syrup Sugar for rim of martini glass Lemon slice for rimming glass and for garnish Fresh strawberry for garnish

Rub the rim of a martini glass with a slice of lemon and then dip into sugar sprinkled onto a saucer to rim the glass. Muddle the strawberries in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Fill shaker with ice and add remaining ingredients. Shake well, strain into the martini glass and garnish with a slice of lemon and/or a strawberry.

WHISKEY SOUR SEPTEMBER 28, 2018

2 ounces good Whiskey 2 ounces Simple Syrup 1 ounce fresh squeezed Lemon Juice 1 Maraschino Cherry

Stir the whiskey, simple syrup, and lemon juice together. Pour over ice in a tall glass. Add a Maraschino cherry.

PINK LADY COCKTAIL OCTOBER 12, 2018

Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, here is a pink drink! Ladies, enjoy and make a note to schedule your annual mammogram. Gotta take care of the girls!

3 oz Gin 1 oz Heavy Cream or Half and Half 1 oz or Brandy 1 Strawberry, 1 tsp. Grenadine

Muddle the strawberry in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add remaining ingredients and fill shaker halfway with ice. Shake thoroughly and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a strawberry if desired.

GHOST-TINI OCTOBER 26, 2018

2.5 oz Vanilla Vodka 2 oz Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur 1 oz White Creme de Cacao ½ oz Half-n-Half 2 large Marshmallows 2 Chocolate Chips Bamboo Skewer

String the two marshmallows on the bamboo skewer. Poke the chocolate chips into the marshmallows to make them look like eyes. Place remaining ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a martini glass. Place the skewer with the ghost eyes on the rim of the glass and enjoy!

THE DELILAH NOVEMBER 5, 2018

2 ounces Hendrick’s Gin 1 ounce Cointreau 1 ounce fresh Lemon Juice Luxardo Cherries

Pour gin, Cointreau, and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes. Shake well and strain into coupe glass. Drop one cherry into the glass and slowly pour one teaspoon cherry juice into drink so that it settles at the bottom.

CANDY CANE MARTINI DECEMBER 8, 2018

1.5 oz. Vanilla Vodka 1.5 oz. White Chocolate Liqueur (such as Godiva) 1 oz. Peppermint Schnapps Whipped cream Candy cane

Combine first three ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake thoroughly and strain into a martini glass. Add whipped cream on top and garnish with a candy cane.
