Woodstock Town Council
Subject Matter:
Attended and spoke at OCC Cabinet about the consequences and impact of the Traffic Order banning HGV at Burford Bridge and the need for more reliable data counting to be done before the final decision to be taken in January ? February 2022. Work by the Windrush Valley Traffic Action Group highlighted their extensive work and the common agreement that more work needed to be done cross counties to establish better routings. Leader of the council acknowledged the impact of the ban on Woodstock too.
THE BARTONS
Subject Matter:
Awaiting meeting on flooding with OCC and Steeple Parish Councillor to take place over flooding issues near the school to look at alternative solutions.
Reducing Speed to 20 mph scheme meeting with Westcote Barton Parish and Steeple Barton Parish Council due to take place next week which District and County Councillors will attend to assist to further the scheme development
STONESFIELD
Subject Matter:
WODC are opening a case to investigate if any planning conditions have been breached in regard to The White Horse pub.
TACKLEY
Subject Matter:
Great news. Have managed to resolve the home to schools transport issue for 4 young people who will be provided with transport in September resulting out of no places being available on the school coach being oversubscribed. Details are being finalised but a reassurance has now been given to me and I have informed parents
BLADON
Subject Matter:
Raised the issue of blocked drains in Park Street needing attention with highways officers and investigations are taking place of flooding at the Bladon roundabout / A44.
Work on the Bladon/Hanborough pathway is being advanced and will take place in this financial year. More to follow
