We [STATE FULL STYLE OF FORWARDER], herein above stated Company, acting as Forwarder on behalf of Shipper [STATE FULL STYLE OF SHIPPER] exporting [STATE FULL STYLE COMMODITY NAME] to [AREA OF DESTINATION], declare that:

1. The commodity is reliably packaged and seaworthy. Besides we confirm it has been properly stuffed in order to avoid any pressure on the container doors during transportation and handling/s. 2. In case of any problem during the stuffing/ unstuffing or along the transportation resulting from the nature of the commodity and/or the way it has been stuffed/packaged, we will be responsible for all the consequences and we will indemnify the Carrier for any possible damage to container/s and/or any possible damage to any other container, to the vessel and/or third party liabilities 3. We have to remove any commodity residual, clean the container interior (especially from metal scrap residual or similar) by appropriate and effective cleaning if needed and return the container cleaned and not damaged. In case we are unable to clean the equipment or container is damaged, Carrier will take care and will collect the cleaning and/ or the repairing costs (which we undertake to pay in case consignee will refuse to pay) 4. We declare that we are fully aware of [STATE DESTINATION COUNTRY] regulations in force about import of metal scrap materials into [Name of the Country]. We declare also that we have obtained all the necessary import licenses, documents/certifications required by regulations in force. We undertake to accept any liability for this cargo and agree to indemnify the Carrier for any cost Evergreen Line may suffer if the above mentioned containers will not be accepted by local authority or will not be picked up upon discharge because of lack of proper documentation.
