GROUP FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

30/30 CYCLE POWER: 30 minutes of followed by 30 minutes of off the bike. A perfect combination of cardio and strength!

30 MINUTE H.I.I.T: This High Intensity class concentrates on short bursts of intervals to provide improved athletic capacity, strength and cardiovascular fitness.

30 MINUTE H.I.I.T CYCLING: Kick-start your through a series of short, high intensity intervals. Don’t like being in the seat for an hour? You’ve found the right class. Short, but intense. For all fitness levels.

ALIGN –N- FLOW YOGA: Alignment based Hatha yoga. This class will take you through standing and seated Asanas; while introducing students to back bends and inversions. Modifications are offered to make the class accessible to all levels of practitioners.

ALL LEVELS YOGA: A Vinyasa style class, synchronizing breath with movement. This class builds balance, strength, tones the mind and body and leaves you feeling invigorated. Focuses on alignment and safety, with modifications for advanced poses, inversions and arm balances. Expect to build heat through breath, sweat, twisting and balance. Great for beginners and challenging enough for experienced yogis.

BOOT CAMP: High intensity class designed to increase strength, speed, muscular and cardiovascular .

BODYPUMP™: The original barbell class that shapes, tones and strengthens your entire body. Great music and your choice of weight inspires you to get the results you came for—and fast! This addictive workout challenges all of your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room such as squats, presses, deadlifts and curls. 30 minute and 60 minute formats offered. ‘KIA KAHA’…Forever Strong!

BODYPUMPilates: 30 minute BODYPUMP® format followed by 30 minute of Pilates. Strength followed by lengthening and core. The ultimate workout!

CARDIO/CORE: 45 minutes of heart pounding cardiovascular work combined with core work for maximum calorie burn. Uses a variety of body weight exercises for the challenge you need to get results fast.

CARDIO-KICKBOXING: This 45 minute kickboxing class offers dynamic offensive and defensive kickboxing combinations combined with for a total body workout. No contact and no equipment required.

CORE FUSION YOGA: This yoga class strengthens and stretches your entire mind, body, and spirit, with a focus on your core, the home of your physical and mental strength, increasing your ability to show up in your life with more balance, authenticity, and confidence. This class is a fusion of Vinyasa yoga as well as holding postures where you build upon your strength and balance. Modifications are offered for more advanced postures.

GENTLE YOGA: Low impact yoga class perfect for the new or beginning yogi, looking for a peaceful and relaxing experience.

INDOOR CYCLE: Technique, power and cardiovascular endurance training for all levels of cyclists.

MAT PILATES: Through continuous movement, Pilates will lengthen, strengthen, sculpt and tone all major muscle groups with an emphasis on core. Pilates helps improve posture, flexibility and balance. This Mat Pilates class will also utilize the FitBall®, along with other tools, to achieve maximum results! Beginner to advanced welcome.

PiYo: Combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility advantages of Yoga. We crank up the speed to deliver a true fat-burning, low impact workout!

POWER CIRCUIT: Speed up your workout using intervals and circuits for a fast-paced, high intensity 45 minute class will increase athletic performance, strength and stamina.

POWER SCULPT: A strength training class focusing on functional fitness that will challenge the body in every way. With or without equipment, exercises vary from total body conditioning to a multi-dimensional attack on a few areas. Some formats are more dynamic utilizing many muscles at once, others more focused. Get toned, Get strong, Get fit!

RESTORATIVE YOGA: Relax, Renew & Rejuvenate! Restorative yoga focuses on alleviating stress through a receptive practice. Asanas are held for longer periods using props for support. This yoga class is great for all body types, ages and new practitioners, as well as experienced yogis.

SILVERSNEAKERS® CARDIO: This workout focuses on cardiovascular endurance. Includes easy to follow low- impact movement and upper body strength, abdominal conditioning, and relaxation exercises designed to energize your active lifestyle. Floor option is available in this class.

SILVERSNEAKERS® CIRCUIT: Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with handheld weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SILVERSNEAKERS® ball is alternated with nonimpact choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises.

SILVERSNEAKERS® CLASSIC: New to SilverSneakers or exercising? This is a great place to start! Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activity for daily living skills. Handheld weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for resistance; and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

TAI CHI: Gentle moving poses and low impact exercises that helps build balance, a healthy spirit, mind and body.

ZUMBA®: A fun, total body workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome. No dance experience required!

ZUMBA® FAMILY: Have fun and burn calories as a family! A mix of body sculpting movements and easy to follow dance steps in a party atmosphere. One adult for every two children please. Ages: 8+ **No class the last Sunday of the month**

ZUMBA® GOLD: Perfect for active older adults or new to Zumba® who are looking for a modified Zumba® class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity. Easy-to-follow choreography focuses on balance, range of motion, coordination and of course…FUN!

ZUMBA® TONING: Lightweight maraca-like toning sticks enhance your sense of rhythm and coordination, while toning target zones, including arms, core and lower body.

AQUA FITNESS CLASSES

**WATER SHOES ARE RECOMMENDED FOR ALL RIVER CLASSES**

AQUA POWER: Get your heart pumping during this moderate intensity full body workout. Class includes both cardio and muscle conditioning segments using a variety of equipment followed by active stretching. Lap pool.

AQUA TONE: This class uses a variety of equipment and formats to build stamina and muscle conditioning. Lap pool.

CARDIO WAVES: A fast paced river class designed to challenge and condition the entire body. Limit 10. River.

CIRCUIT: Build endurance and increase your muscular strength, including core and balance, in this effective fast paced workout. Activity pool area (shallow)

DEEP WATER AQUA TONE: Uses belts and noodles for support in deep water. Exercises will challenge the core without stress on the joints. Comfort in deep water is encouraged. Limit 10. Lap pool.

POWER WAVES: A great full body workout in the River. This hour alternates between aerobic intervals and active recovery providing a great cardio and caloric burning workout. River.

PRENATAL: This is the place to be if you're an expecting mother. This fun, low impact class gives expecting moms a great workout. The water lessens stress on joints and muscles and helps prevent over heating during exercise. Lap pool.

RIVER INSANITY: The Lazy River is transformed into a high energy, cardio workout. This 45 minute class uses the river's current for a variety of interval and resistance training. River.

SHA DEEP: This class is a well-rounded combination of cardio, resistance, core, and balance. You will use both shallow and deep water to achieve a total body workout. Floatation aids available for deep water portion of class. Lap pool.

AQUA BOOT CAMP: Intervals, plyometrics, and drills in the hydrodynamic pool environment results in an explosive workout. Lap pool.
