RESEARCH INTERESTS AND EXPERTISE

I study cultural norms, reciprocity, gratitude and empathy. I look at the ways norms of reciprocity bear on gratitude and the ways outlooks on reciprocity vary cross-culturally. I also assess cultural differences in implicit cognitive processing.
